It's ok, you're probably not alone. Danny Ketch is the guy who took the job of Ghost Rider back in the 90's. What happened was that his sister Barbara got struck with an arrow and Dan got some blood on his hand. There was a motorcycle nearby that had a glowing gas cap. He touched it with the hand that had blood on it and he became the Ghost Rider. What happened after that is a long and strange story. Especially when you take into account that comics in the 90s had a tendency to cross each other. That and the fact that Johnny Blaze comes in as well. I hope that answers your question. Since you didn't know about Danny Kech, you also probably don't know about Kenshiro Cochrane from Ghost Rider 2099. That is, of course, a story for another time.
