Sorrow shook her head; "You can try and stop it Kaos with your words, but if she feels the same as the man who tried to put his foot in your face then were all wasting our breath." Sorrow kissed him on the cheek; "I take it the large power out front is some new guests and not my brother being a fool?"

Toole smiled and got up touching the wood to start it burning before coming over to stand at a respectful distance. "Welcome home Akuma, and nice to meet you as well ladies and gentlemen."

Toole returned to the love seat to set down and let them reunite. The important part was passed and all he needed to do now was be quiet and not do anything stupid to embarrassed anyone.

Sorrow walked out of the house, her clothing was cleaned of all the dirt she had acquired, and once she was close enough for her comfort she bowed slightly and stood back up making sure her wings were folded properly and evenly spaced so as to be the most presentable to these guests.

Toole smiled leaning back on the love seat and admiring how well behaved Sorrow was at the moment.

Sorrow sat over by Toole the look she got from Akuma was not what she was hoping for, and she sat there thinking about a million ways to get out staying for dinner. Yet knowing for every reason Kaos probably had a counter to make her stay without much of a fight. However she pushed that losing battle of thoughts aside and began thinking about who the little sprite was in love with. She felt bad for him, but was curious just who he was in love with at the same time.

Toole reached over and took a hold of Ailes hand smiling softly at her. "I got a little carried away dancing this afternoon dancing I forgot to give you the other thing I wanted you to have. You don't mind if I give it to you now do you?"

Lisa spoke up from the doorway to the kitchen; "One more try Jez, then you need to come inside an eat, and finish up chores." Jez looked down the field at the colored orbs, and thought about the process of going about making a fireball shoot downrange. She had spent most of the time working on her throwing and destroying the orbs she could reach. Jez tried again she used both hands at once, and before Cynthia got the whole question out as to why she was using to hands the fireball shot off her hands just like how it was explained to her. It hit the back barrier, but Jez wasn't really aiming for anything either since it was her last try for the evening. Quannah was watching from a distance, and smiled starting on her way to come the rest of the way home.

Jez jumped up and down for a few minutes in excitement for finally pulling it off, and Lisa and Cynthia applauded her achievement. Cynthia went inside as Jez picked everything up that went to her dress. She spied a look at the door and moving over to a tree she stared at its trunk almost feeling stupid about what she was going to do. "I don't know if you can hear me, but can you pass on the message to a tree sprite by the name of Ian. Can you tell him I finally shot a fireball, and that I did it in the white dress. Also if its not too much, can you tell him i'm sorry for upsetting him earlier, thanks a bunch if you can, but if not your got to listen to me act a fool talking to you." Jez bowed and went inside to eat.

Toole smiled; "Me, make a scene, nah, its not that fancy a gift, and you should know you're always welcome stay at my place." Toole pulled out a sketch book and opened it to the first page, it showed the garden behind the house in full bloom, Ailes was showing him how to properly pull weeds without disturbing the plants. On the next page they had apparently taken a break to do a little dancing as Ailes's dress was fanned out in a twirl with her body looking graceful as a swans. The next page they were weeding again, but Toole had a mischievous grin on his face as he kept peeking over the plants to keep an eye on Ailes. The next page was Ailes hand picking up a shining ring from the loose dirt of where a weed was. The page following was Toole standing beside her looking at it as well trying to keep a straight face. The next page was Toole sliding it on her finger.

The next page was blank, but in the middle of the book, in cut out of the rest of the pages in the sketch book, sat the real life ring nestled in its hiding spot. Toole whispered in her ear; " I hope you like it since it's the other half of a set you're currently wearing about your neck."

Lucid stood at the end of his bed and looked at its emptiness, he was afraid to get in. with out Akuma in it his bed became a cold gaping hole that would swallow him if he set foot in it. his eyes were brown again but darker than usual, they were glossy and ready to cry. Lucid couldnt bare the thought of sleeping alone tonight. he threw on his coat and shoes and headed to gate town.

it was good that he still remembered where the house was. he looked up at it and tugged at this hair nervously, and made a note that it was getting rather long. Lucid formed himself into a bat and began looking for open windows. "ill just lay next to her for a little bit. i wont even wake her. then ill leave and she wont have to be upset with me." he thought to himself. the wind was blowing colder than he had remembered so he hung under the gutter and huddled for a few minutes to get warm again. this only made him more eager to get inside. finally, he spotted an open window, thought he prayed that he wouldn't have to see that Asmodeus guy again. not that he would do anything, just that the sight of him made Lucids belly turn. he clung to the windowpane with his thumbs and peered into the room. it was dark and Arkan appeared to be inside, he quickly crawled in and made his way to the door. it was open and he looked through the crack to see if anyone was in the hallway. Akuma's room was just a few doors down. he flew to her door silently and turned back to his normal form. Lucid held the cool door handle in his hand for a moment, and remembered that her door squeaked. as he turned the handle he lifted the door just enough so that it wouldnt squeak. he entered and shut the door gently behind him. (thankfully Asmodeus is enough of a gentlemen to take the couch instead of Akuma) So he stood on her bed side and looked at her sleeping body. she looked beautiful even in the dark as if her beauty cut through the darkness. he wanted to hold her so badly, feel her in his arms once more. his chest ached it felt as if someone had their had around his heart and was squeezing it. she made him feel weak in her presence, how couldnt she? she is the only woman he has ever loved. he placed one hand in his pocked and remembered he had placed their ring there. he rubbed it between his fingers and felt its shape. he put the ring on again. he then remembered the first time he sneaked into her bed. it was probably the start of their relationship. they were younger and he remembered how excited he felt that night, and how she made him feel warm inside. Lucid knelt down and rested his head on the edge of the bed and watched her closely as she slept. it was comforting, like things could be normal again in that moment. he closed his eyes and he felt that warmness again, knowing he was so close to her. he wished he could feel that way forever.

Lucid crawled into bed with her "I cant just visit you, i have to be with you." his voice was breaking up and his tears dripped on her pillow "what did i do that was so wrong? i was only trying to protect you, i always have, but im not as strong as you. have i really only gotten in your way this whole time?" He closed his eyes, it was hard to look at her when he was feeling so much pain. but if he could find a reason, then maybe he could live with it.

"Akuma" her voice left his lips so smoothly, he loved saying her name. "i am sorry about the fruit, i only did that because i was afraid that if i bit you i would drain you dry. i hated the thought of hurting you, or anyone else. i was a vampire with a warm heart. i thought thats why you loved me. thats why i went away, the blood tablets werent enough anymore. i was changing, i am now the bloodthirsty vampire your wild fantasies were longing for." he inhaled and exhaled deeply "i didnt like going away, i wanted nothing more then to be near you. but i did it to protect you and our son. it pains me to know you were hurting so much," he paused and began to cry again "i just wish it could have been me that nursed you back to health and not him." it was hard for him say, his words were broken up by his sniffling. "I should have been there for you, im so sorry"
