Actually I have had to look at this a lot of late. I have found the LabTechs at least drop as much as a Memphis and they are in the 10-15k range most of the time. Which means that for their 4 week lifespan they are worth it cause you can buy ALOT of them for the same price at the Memphis or Lila and technically have a longer lifespan by just replacing them.
You're quite right. If the Labtech Jumpers drop as much as a Memphis (and trigger as often) then they are a viable investment. Just make sure your tank has good exposure before you drop them in. 4 weeks isn't a lot of time. Still, you can easily extend that by replacing them as they die.
There's no question in my mind that quite a few of the Mini Monsters are good booty grab fish, but their short lifespans are challenging. If you're looking for profit, best to do the math before you buy.
