Setting:
(Note: I am basing this off of how my first game of Mass Effect ended, so bear with me.)
With the Council dead, and Captain Anderson speaking as the voice of Humanity, and leading the council races into the future, the galaxy has become more aware of what is happening. Not everyone knows fully what is at stake, but those who have an idea can no longer sit idly by. The most capable of all the races have begun to take action, either alongside the Alliance and council races, or on their own.
Even the rebellious and uproarious Batarian's have prioritized survival over their aging feud with humanity and the council races. Even a few Krogan have realized the need for action, mostly out of the desire for combat and credits.

Wait a minute, Aerin. Aren't you forgetting something?

Oh! Almost forgot! Rules!

1. GAIA TOS. OBEY.
2. If it ain't already established in Mass Effect, it ain't in the RP. Deal with it.
3. Be. Literate. If you can't manage it, stop right now, and don't bother. I don't deal with illiterates in my RP's. That doesn't mean I expect you to describe in painstakingly explicit detail the appearance of a room reflected in a drop of water as it falls, but what I do expect is complete sentences, proper punctuation, and proper spelling. Not really that hard. There is a spell check on Firefox, and if you don't use Firefox, use whatever word processing program you have for spell check. Here's an example of what is acceptable:

Aerin disabled his pistol and put it to the hard point on his armor.

See? Simple.

Now then, is there anything else I am forgetting...?

Yes! This is important, too.

Experience! You have it! Everyone starts out with *drumroll* ZERO. You are level 1. You have zero experience points toward your next level. However, you have *drumroll* THREE talent points that you can put into any of your unlocked talents. If you do not know what talents you have and how many ranks are available for your level, ask me, or you can look it up on your own Mass Effect game, if you have it. If not, like I said, ask me and I'll do some research. Won't take me long, either.

I will tell you what you start with for equipment, credits, and weapons when you PM me your character sheet.

Oh, and just so you know... EXP will be in smaller numbers. So instead of needing say 1,000 EXP to level... You need 100. So for all you experience whore's out there, like me, leveling will be just as fast and easy, but the numbers will be smaller. Seriously, it won't make much difference. Promise.

If you have any questions/comments/constructive criticism, PM it to me. Just don't get bent out of shape if I turn down a request.

** If you have decided to be a Krogan Battlemaster, you need to provide a good reason why I should allow it. Krogan Battlemasters are extremely rare, and also quite powerful. If I deem your reason unworthy, you will be assigned a general class that matches what you gave me.

That all...?

No.

If you play your character like an a*****e who bends or breaks the rules regularly, be prepared to face the music. You will have trouble from various groups, and be more welcome with others. Conversely, if you play your character as sticking to the books and the laws, then the shady folk will be more apt to not like you, while the people like you will welcome you with open arms.

Okay, I think I'm done now.

Yep, done. You can now construct your profile and then send it to me. I'll let you all know when this thing is actually in play.
