Aquarian Coast

Often simply referred to as "The Coast" by the locals, this beautiful area of the city is very popular for tourists. Though Zora Guards keep the water safe from monsters such as Octoroks, Skullfish, Gyorgs, and Like-Likes, like many beaches, attacks from these creatures still occur.

White sands and clean, pure waters make this a very romantic spot as well as a great vacation sight. The Lighthouse at the end of the beach, located at a rocky outpost of the beach is also a favorite for young and elderly lovers alike.

"Alright, you little piece of crap, hand it over." Max chased down Cole, subconsciencely giving himself a boost of adrenaline, hunting down the small Kokiri boy. Eventually, he caught up to the small, green-clothed little cretin, and snagged the book back. "Funny. Usually I can't even keep up with you. All this walking must be making some of us a bit stronger." He said proudly. "Thank you, aerobic exercise."

Max flipped through the book one more time, and after he read it through a little bit, it suddenly distintegrated in his hands. "The magic knows... It wants only one to learn it. Or perhaps it was a spell cast by the Zora Emporium Manager, I don't know. If you guys want to learn it, I guess you'll have to buy it yourself." He sighed. "That sucks. I was hoping to share it with you guys."

Max concentrated for a moment, closing his eyes, letting magic flow through him. Suddenly, a blue barrier of flowing electricity swirled around him. He opened his eyes and flinched. "Well, well. Doesn't this feel badass." He laughed. "I feel like I should dye my hair bright yellow or something. I'unno why, though."

He turned off the spell with his mind, and sat down in the sand. "Y'know, while we're here, we could also check out the lighthouse, unless you guys want to chill here for a while..."

"You know this place better than I do" Justin stood over Max, disinterested in sitting down onto the sand. "Whatever you think we should do is what we shall do" He looked around, the coast seemed pretty calm, which was rare for this point in time. He sighed, thinking about what it would be like without the creatures who roam Hyrule in search of Hylian blood. He had heard of a time long ago when everything was peaceful, and these creatures had not existed. Lighter, more peaceful times. A Hyrule which was worth living in, without having terrible fear of being slaughtered by a Stalchild every night. This area was the closest thing to that Hyrule Justin had ever seen, a sanctuary of a sort.

He was lost in thought at the idea of a better Hyrule that he completely lost track of what they were talking about. He quickly snapped out of it when he realized that he had drifted off in a daydream and awaited an answer from one of his companions... if he hadn't missed a response already while he was lost in his fanasies.

Max grinned. It was nice to feel like a specialized traveler in certain areas of Hyrule. "Alright. So, there are a lot of places to hang out here... There's the Lighthouse, fishing areas, seafood restaurants..." Max went on a long list of things to do in Aquarian City, when as he was talking, they started to slowly sink downwards. At first, it was hardly noticeable, but after a few seconds, Max stopped blabbering and realized they were slowly sinking. "Damn! Don't make any sudden movements..." Max grunted in frustration.

But it was too late - the sand had already swallowed them up, and they fell about ten feet, landing in a small, wet cavern. "Well, crap." As Max started to stand up from the long fall, he heard a long, crescendo-like echo, and stood up. "Must be the wind up above..." But in a moment, Max was proved wrong. A large, black hand swooped down and grabbed Cole, dragging him towards the dark ceiling above. Max jumped up and tried to grab Cole's ankle, but to no success. "Not again... Stuck with Justin." Max laughed nervously. "There's not a lot of light in here... I can barely see in front of me."

Justin watched Cole once again get snatched sighing, he couldn't believe that they'd have to go through this again. "Dammit!!" He swung his arms around violently trying to find a wall to punch, but interestingly enough, they were in an open space, no walls around them. "All I wanted was a little break" He sat down and thought, but it didn't make a bit of difference guys, the balls are inert. he was positive that they were gonna rot in this cavern anyway. Then he suddenly got an idea, and couldn't believe that they may get out of here alive. "Max, use the Zora shield for light"
PostPosted: Sat Jul 25, 2009 7:44 am

"Alright." He flicked some kind of internal switch in his mind, and the Zoran Shield flicked on, and it created an electrical barrier of electricity around him. When the dim blue light, filled the room, it revealed a small, round-shaped cave, with stalagmites and stalactites everywhere in the cave. However, there was a out-of-place door within the cave walls, made of a stone slab. "Yo! Justin! Take a look!" Max pointed at the door. "Wonder where that goes...?" Next to the door was a pair of torches on each side. Max moved energy to his hands, which began becoming very warm, then unbearably hot. In a flash, he released all this heat energy at once, and shot two fireballs out of each of his hands at the torches, sucessfully lighting them. Immediately the room lit up on its own, and Max turned off his Zoran Shield to stop wasting magic.

"That door looks like the only way out..." Max sighed. "Hopefully it won't lead us even deeper in this place..."

Cole looked around at the new dungeon. " Yay! Adventure! " Cole said as he looked around. Pum was gone. " Crap. Thats why it was so dark. I lost Pum. When we sank... he didn't. " Cole said as he ran over to the stone slab. He grabbed the bottom of it. He attempted to pull the stone slab upward as he huffed and puffed. The door wouldn't even budge. But thats not saying much since Cole has the body frame of a twig and could barely carry more than thirty pounds on him.

" I can't open it. I must be sealed shut. We have no way out. " Cole said as he looked at Max and Justin. He ran over to Max and grabbed his shirt. " We are going to be trapped here forever. " Cole said as he started panting. " We are going to die here. " Cole said as he continued to overreact. " Our corpses will pile on top of each other. And we might need to eat someone. I suggest Justin. He is the newest member of this team. He has the least to live for. " Cole said as he laid on the floor. " No... air... losing... consciousness. " Cole said as he dramatically passed out on Max's feet.

"What the Hell? Where'd you come from?!" Max cried out at the sight of his newly found friend, who apparantly escaped from a Wallmaster's clutch. They didn't even have to go find him this time - he came right to them. Max sighed at Cole's complaining. "Well... Someone hasn't been out of the forest in a while..." He delivered a swift upward kick to the group's complainer, making him stand back up. "Don't panic... There's a door right there, as I just said about three seconds ago. I'm not sure if you were there or not..."

Seeing as the door was the only way out, Max led the group through the ominous doorway. As everyone passed through, the stone slab behind them sealed off their exit, and several torches lit in a circle around the room, revealing a giant, round room of stone and sand. In the center was a giant sand wyvern, growling down upon them. "Well... Uh..." Max sighed. Locked in a room with two idiots and a hungry dragon. Just his luck. The wyvern suddenly let out a deep, loud roar, and Max immediately covered his ears in panic. "Should we, uh, try to reason with it?" Receiving another roar, seemingly at his bad attempt at a joke, he quickly pulled out his sword, quivering at the sight of this beast.

The sand wyvern was a giant beast, perhaps 20 feet long. It had the appearance of a giant hammerhead shark, with scales and fins. It had two wings on each side, that could fold up like fins. It had huge teeth that grew into its gums at random, like the mouth of a Great White Shark. It had beady little eyes that stared at Max, Justin, and Cole hungrily. At that moment, it charged headfirst into the group, trying to get a headbutt in.

"Crap! Get out of the way!" Max shouted, rolling out of the way of the attacker. "I wish I had a giant sword right now, and something that made loud noise. Not sure why..."

Cole had followed Max into the next room as he held his stomach in a bit of pain. Noticing the twenty foot tall sand dragon shark thing, Cole got a tad scared. Reason with it? How was one to reason with it? " I can reason with it. " Cole said nervously as he looked over at the beast. " Who is a good grotesque looking shark dragon sand demon thing? You are. You are. " Cole said as the thing roared at the group. Cole had to say the word good. Why? Oh well.

The beast roared as it pulled its head back as it began to charge at it. " It's not that bad. Its sand right? And sand is a whole bunch of different grains of sand, right? " Cole said as he took out his Deku Leaf. Cole winded up for a blow. Cole slammed the leaf down as a bullet of wind bolted forward toward the sand beast.

"Great job, idiot." Max sighed as Cole tried "reasoning" with the sand beast. However, when Cole next decided to blow a gust of wind at the wyvern with his Deku Leaf, it blew it back, creating a small sandstorm within the room. "Great job, idiot..." Max muttered a second time, covering his face and protecting it from the sand spinning wildly through the air. When the violent dust quickly cleared, however, the wyvern was stopped in its tracks and knocked back several feet. "Great job, idiot!" Max once again repeated himself, this time with a smile and no sarcasm. "It ain't done yet, though..." He sighed as the beast got up a second time and let out an echoing roar, which Max was forced to cover his ears a second time. "Alright... How do we tackle this thing, anyway?" He readied his sword, getting into some kind of defensive stance. "Did anybody think of some kind of strategy? 'Cause I sure as Hell didn't."

Justin looked at the giant sand monster in fear. Not only was it huge and... well... dangerous looking. It also had the personality to go with it, an a*****e. "Yeah... I have no plan whatsoever" He reached behind his back and pulled out his sword, "But I guess we should do what we normally do in these situations?" He looked at Max who seemed to not be listening to what Justin was saying, blankly staring at the beast in front of them. "That's right Max, We... CHARGE!!!!!" Justin stupidly ran at the Wyvern, sword in hand, not thinking of what he was doing... at all

Cole looked at the beast. Devising a plan isn't his forte but he had to try. Cole sighed as he watched Justin charge at the wyvern. There had to be a weak point. But what could it be? It had wings and the wind actually moved it back but then it created a tiny sandstorm.

Cole sighed again as he looked at the wall. They were stone. Easily climbable. Cole had his bow in hand as he started to wall climb. He was really agile for this at least. He went up about fifteen feet as he jumped off. With the Deku Leaf, he floated with both hands on the leaf. With his feet, because he was practically a monkey, he pulled back the arrow that he had already knocked. He released the arrow going straight for the wyvern's head. Cole took one hand off the Deku Leaf as he started to fall. He blew the leaf as he flew backward but gave the arrow a tailwind. The arrow was now going about fifty miles per hour faster. Cole hit the wall as he slid down to the floor against the wall in a bit of pain. Let's hope that worked.

The wyvern let out a huge roar as it was struck by the super-charged arrow. Blood spurted out of its wound, and an arrow was sticking out of its wing. But it wasn't going to die with just a small flesh wound. It got on its stomach and slithered at a super-fast speed at Cole, and did a quick 180-spin, swiping its tail across as he spun, attempting to deliver a powerful blow to Cole and Justin.

In the meantime, Max had been gathering magical energy at his palms. "Betcha he doesn't like fire." He shot out a few fireballs from his palms at the body of the wyvern. It was the only part of the body that remained the most still - his fins, neck and tail were spinning around with the attack. The wyvern let out a screech at the end of its swing when the fireballs collided, and a few spotty burns appeared on its body, peeling its flesh where they hit. At that moment it charged for Max.

"Help?"
PostPosted: Sun Aug 02, 2009 7:01 pm

Cole had been slammed into another wall by the tail of the wyvern. Getting up slowly, Cole had a plan. If he could execute this correctly, Max had set it up for him. Cole ran toward the wyvern as he used the Deku Leaf to get some air. As he flipped into the air, he had landed on the wyvern's back. The three spots that Max's fireballs had hit were near where he landed.

Cole took out an arrow from his quiver as he held onto the wyvern as he moved around on top of it. Making it to one of the flesh spots, he stabbed the arrow into the wound. Cole held on for the recoil that would ensue after the stab, he slowly climbed the beast to the next wound. He drew another arrow as he did the same thing as before. Jabbing the arrow into the flesh wound, the wyvern bucked Cole off and made him land in the corner of the room where he was slammed into before.

Seventeen arrows left. Note to self.

Justin watched the two of them, Max making the creature vulnerable with the fire, and Cole using the arrows to hurt him. What could he do? He thought for a moment, trying to stay out of the way of the wyvern. He stopped charging once he saw Cole fly down off the wall, which caught him by surprise when he landed on top of the monster. He was useless at the moment, and trying to figure out what he could do to help.

In order for Max to make the fire... He thought, developing a plan on what he should do, He needs time for his magic to develop. He knew what he was gonna do, he took a huge breath and yelled as loud as he could in order to divert the Wyvern's attention from Max to Himself.

The Wyvern stopped heading toward max and changed direction, just noticing the 3rd opponent in the battle. It gave an irritable screech and advanced toward Justin, accelerating quickly and eventually gliding through the air above the sand at high speeds. "OH s**t!!!!" He turned and sprinted as fast as he could, almost crying. "RUN AWAY!!!!!" The Wyvern quickly caught up to him, it's speed was unmatchable and it would be impossible to outrun him. Justin quickly rolled down onto the sand as the creature glided right over him, barely skimming His flesh. Justin then changed direction and was planning to continue this tactic in order to distract the monster to allow Max and Cole to do their thing.
