beed for a nature like Impish because bold nature lowers attack which your luxray obviously favors...also maybe breed it with a floatzel that knows ice fang so it can learn it(assuming your luxray is a girl and the floatzel is a boy)
Breeding for Ice Fang isn't a bad idea, but it still doesn't change the fact that Luxray is kind of weak overall. I'd go with Jolly to boost its pitiful Speed - it's fine in the attack department.

keep breeding until you can get a hidden power fly,fire or bug to get rid of its grass 4x weakness
There are a LOT of Grass attack users that are not Grass-type; Infernape sometimes carries Grass Knot, as does Empoleon, and there are a bunch of others that can ambush you with Grass Knot or Energy Ball. Especially with Gastrodon's terrible speed and the amount of time it's gonna take to breed for a good HP...

try dragon claw when it evolves and earthquake Outrage is also an option here, depending on what item you put on it.

pretty good but try to give it a sp.def+ att.-(or calm in other words)nature...it can learn decent special attacks Like what? Umbreon's use is not as an attacker, it's as a bulky, obnoxious wall or a trap passer. It can learn Psychic, Shadow Ball, and Dark Pulse, but all are based off its ABYSMAL 60 base SpAtk. If you REALLY insist on atatcking with it, at least use its 65 base Atk (though hell I wouldn't even do that; Umbreon is a support Pokemon, not a sweeper).
