With the release of Mario Kart DS, I'd like to announce the Official Thread of the Official Subforum for any and all WFC related questions and information about the Nintendo DS.
This includes, but is not limited to, WiFi games (such as Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, and Metroid Prime: Hunters), OS and Wireless Browsing (eg: LinuxDS), and Buddy Lists and names.

These wireless spots are going to be rather interesting to see. You know as soon as we can get an internet access on our DS there are going to be problems like viruses and illegal downloads onto the DS directly.

sweatdrop LinuxDS is already out, and there is already a virus targeting the DS. Unfortunately for DS owners, the virus is only available if you try to download Japanese pornography, so, unlike PSP owners, you have absolutely no excuse for contracting it whee

Edymion sweatdrop LinuxDS is already out, and there is already a virus targeting the DS. Unfortunately for DS owners, the virus is only available if you try to download Japanese pornography, so, unlike PSP owners, you have absolutely no excuse for contracting it whee OK i dont know about you but people that do look at that stuff should get the virus. The DS was not designed for that.

I just hate that I have to buy a special device for the computer just to go WiFi. it's not cheap. and it looks really weird. Looks like a normal USB Memory stick to me.

No... You can use any WiFi Hotspot or Wireless Router. I have a Wireless Router set up in my house. It's how my laptop and DS get online.

I haven't gotten a Wi-fi game yet, but I want either animal crossing or mario kart and I already know my wi-fi connect will work because my bro has played mario kart online because we have a wireless router. You may think this is weird, but my name on my DS is P Turtle meaning "Power Turtle".
