So I can't hold a conversation with either of my parents without them telling me "Well, since you're not moving to Arizona, you should look into classes at the local tech college." Which really sounds like "Since you have failed so hard, why don't you just stay here and rot?"
This is more heart breaking than any relationship.

Well, how come you're not moving to Arizona?
Also, do they intend on paying for your classes if you DO decide to go to a local college?

You've got to try to not look at it like that... Maybe they're just trying to encourage you to still get up and try? Going there is better then nothing, and just sitting there doubting yourself constantly.

I'm pretty sure Dewey's planning on going to one of the local tech colleges, because we can't afford anywhere else and he just wants to go to college so he can get a good job and stuff. It's not that terrible, unless you want to go to college for something really specific that tech college won't cover for you, then maybe you should find a crappy job, save up, and go where you want to. You haven't failed. Life's just hard.
