I was just bored one day and decided to look up when vol. 5 of SD would finally be avaliable to us poor, neglected American fans, and I saw that the release date was MARCH 2010.

I AM SO MAD.
How in the heck could the next release date be so far away?! I read on Wikipedea that Japan already has 14 out and is going fast and strong, and when I looked at the copyright dates in the ones here, they actually seemed to be coming out pretty fast.
Grr... this must be some sort of scam to try and make money... somehow.
BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

I know, I find it annoying Dx someone needs to send a strongly worded letter to Tokyopop >:0 although I'm guessing its coming out then probably due to translating issues I bet :<

Oh, the banner was made by the BRILLIANT Aoara, in the Banners post. If you want to use it, check there. (Just click the second button on your mouse and click 'copy image location' if you want to use it somewhere)
Anyways, back on topic: but why would Tokyopop have translating issues? Well, other than the fact that their translators aren't the best... but, SD didn't seem too have too complicated words... in abundance anyway....
xp I don't get it...
I'm just complaning now. Sorry. stare

There are actually 17 volumes out in Japan right now, which makes it even MORE a mystery as to why they pushed it back so far. It was originally due out July 6th. I'm wondering if there are any articles available that might explain why there's such a long waiting period.

kunchan WOW. 17?!? Man, it must be nice to be Japanese right now... crying No kidding, huh? I wish I could read kanji. The good news is, someone picked up scanning the series again. Vol.9 is starting to be released per chapter. They're not great as translating, but it's worth reading to be able to continue the story!

Vol.9 is starting to be released per chapter. They're not great as translating, but it's worth reading to be able to continue the story! i can see someone trying to learn Kanji just to read the series
