Today I read a lot of articles about Venus (mainly from Space.com)
Here and on the next posts are the ones I would recommend you to read:

Finally I would also recommend reading the article about Venus from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venus
It is very well written and will give you a wider view about Venus.
