"The goal of the Great Work of alchemy, called also the Art, is the "Philosopher's Stone".
Currently the country of Amestris have border skirmishes against the neighboring countries of Creata in the west and Areugo in the south. To the north is the Briggs mountain range and further north is the country of drachma which has a non-aggression pact with Amestris.
The country of Amestris itself is divided into five administrative sectors (Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western and Central) each with their own headquarters. Though each region has its own army and commanding officers, the bulk of the forces lie within Central City, the military capital. The military also has its own collection of enormous libraries, only accessible by high ranking officials and State Alchemists, as well as five laboratories in which alchemic research is conducted. Shown below are the headquarters seen during the series.
Story-
An unrest has settled over Amestris...a rebel group of homunculus calling themselves "Sanity's Requiem" plague the streets,leaving even the safest ofplaces in unrest. The military is having a hard enought ime fighting them, with no real leader being seen behind the attacks from the homunculus. But there is a leader...but their true identity has yet to be revealed...
This creature, calling itself "Sanity", is said to have pocession of the fabled philosopher's stone....
Some say it is only a myth, it is up to you to decide...

Rules: These are pretty simple, most normal rp rules apply. (Literacy, no cybering,ect ect.) Don't forget that alchemy is still a science! You can't run around changing pebbles into rocket launchers! -Please send me your prfiles via pm, no need cluttering the front page with profiles. -As I stated in the characters post, this rp is not DIRECTLY connected to the show,minus a few things, such as characters and locations.

 Homunculus are the results of alchemy being used to bring back the dead, but have failed. Homunculus CANNOT use alchemy, but each has an assortment of their own special powers. The Homunculus which to get souls of their own, and "Sanity" promises them that it will use the stone to give them what they want, if they do as he says.Not: Each homunculus has an alchemy circlet tatooed somewhere on their body, signifying that they are homunculus. Grey awoke bleeding against a wall, his vision hazy as blood trikled down his arm. "Grey!" a man screamed, "Get in the safe room!"
He woke up and yawned. "Not that dream again..." he ran his hand thorugh his hair and sighed.

She sat at her desk, shuffleing threw papers and writeing things down time to time. After a while she let out a sigh, leaning back as she did. She stared at the ceiling for a moment before closeing her eyes.

Sari left the resturant, smiling to himself as he pushed down the tight black shirt over his chest. He put the white-rimmed shades over his eyes and continued down the sidewalk, sighing.

Kisa's eyes were closed, her back to the wall as she slept. She wasn't SUPPOSe to sleep, but she was too tired to care...a yell, and she was up in a flash, her hand to her forehead, eyes wide as she quivered, shocked. "!!"

She sat for a short while before continueing her work. (After 3nodding ) Before sari knew it he was in the slums, walking through the backstreets and dark alleys of central. He kept the shades securely over his eyes, though he held no fear for this part of the city.

Once gone, Kisa stared blankly across her to the wall on the other side of the hallway. Out. Need...out.. carefully, she scampered towards the door, and opening the nearest window, taking a deep breath, then dangling out, sighing and slumping.

He awoke and quickly wrapped a blanket around his body, it was a very cold out and the brisk air stung his red eyes. People stared and pointed at him, but he did not care, he was proud of his people, he had a grudge for the military.

She got up walking toward the door "I'll be back" She said to the others as she left. She wondered if the Elric brother were getting any closer to the stone where abouts but that should be the lesser of her conserns. She had to deal with the issues of the Ishbalens and other such problems.
