The Fellrin are an ancient, primal race. They got in an ancient war with otherworldly magic users. In the final battle there was a huge blast of raw energy, killing many and trapping a few in magical stasis. Nothing else is known of the other race. The Fellrin waited, frozen, for many years before they were relaesed recently by a powerful mage. The magic that bound them fused with them, giving them magical traits and mutating them into strange, armored beasts. Now they look for a place in a new, advanced world.
