Hello everyone ^^ I just joined the guild so wanted to say hello and a little introduction. Lets see.. I'm 21, live in Montana, and i've been playing RPGs since I was very young, young enough to have played both Lunar games on release for the Sega CD ;p Lunar was the RPG that really sparked my interest in the genre (along with Shinning Force) and it's been my favorite series ever since. I've beat both games countless times as i'm sure many of you have ^^ Sadly Sega CD games get largely overlooked as the system wasn't overly sucessful, so i was very happy to see Lunar release to the PS. Even though i've never played the PS version the series deserved more attention that it had gotten on the Sega CD. Thats about it so, hello all nice to meet fellow fans ^^

Welcome to the guild. ^_^ I played the Sega CD versions, too! Long long time ago...I feel old now. I blame Lunar for my current obsession of RPGs. The story was so amazing. I agree that it didn't receive as much attention as it desserved....But when the Sega CD was around, RPGs weren't that popular. At least the made it for the PS. Anyways. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or ask the members. We're all pretty nice around here. Have a great time here. ^^

No need to worry yet, you're not old untill you're atleast 20 ^^ when you're 25 it's official though ;p Though you're right, the Sega CD caught the very beginning of the RPG craze and the system was already dieing when they started getting super popular. It is still my favorite rpg platform though not only was Lunar released on it but Shining Force CD and Vay (two of my other favorites). A couple others as well though i dont recall their names. I was so disappointed the day i found out that the Sega CD was being canceled (no new games in production). In my opinion none of the new games, even my favorites, compare to the classics. So many are too concerned with making the best battle system, or the best graphics, and stories seem to come secondary sad and stories are the whole reason I play them, i couldnt care less about graphics or battle systems.

I'll be 20 in January. *continues to feel old* Anyway. I must admit that I will play any game as long as it has a good story. I absolutly love stories. I use to write constantly...But eversince I graduated I hardly pick up a pen anymore...That's why I love Lunar so much. The first one will always be my favorite simply because it has such a great story.
