While the Mizimu'Tungika considers them to be rebels, cowards, and faithless renegades, the Dhati see themselves in a different light and call themselves by a different name. Unknown to the pride they oppose, the Dhati are growing in numbers and strength. Title: Queen
Description: A symbol of the Dhati, Ufahami'tatuka is the bright and hallowed Queen, mated to the King. At once proud and strong, she is also ill-tempered and callous, not entirely the most enticing of Queens. Most believe along with their King that she is merely a symbol, and nothing more, and this suits Ufahami'tatuka greatly.

Description: Bone collector!Lion. It was love at first sight; he saw the bone mask and could not resist. Much like a spider, the male tends to weave his own ways, or webs if you will, of making things happen that work for both his gain whether it's through the efforts and prosperity of someone else or by working directly with his 'web'. His mentality is one that is determined, selfless and persistent in being the 'spider' who causes events and situations to weave yet another string into the grand master plan. Whatever the 'web' needs, Kunja will see to it that he will go whatever length to assure that the web, this master plan his paws help weave, will go through.

To all but his sister he is generally bitter and rough around the edges, complete with a short fuse and a strong dislike of anyone he believes to be wasting his time.

Description: Kahiga is a firm believer in actions speaking louder than words. He honestly doesn't give what everyone else is roaring about until it comes to blows -- then he'll take an interest. He is rather gruff and tends to rub other lions the wrong way by openly scorning them, trying to provoke them into a fight. While not as swift as other lions, the scars on his hide proves that he's experienced, though they don't say whether or not he's become victorious in said combat or lived long enough to still be a thorn in many lions' sides.

Touches of age are beginning to show on her frame but she is nonetheless an adequete huntress, hoping to one day be able to speak with the spirits again. She is a mother figure, compassionate, protective, and warm and simply hopes to protect the pride and the children of the pride, misguided as she may be.

Description: Vunjika is a mature lioness who has seen many harsh realities of life. She is usually snappy at those who bother her and is very strict and domineering, a trait she used to full extent while she was a Minder in the Mizimu’Tungika. Highly cynical of others, Vunjika can be said by some to be heartless as she usually deals out the most callous remarks, though they are full of brutal truths.

Description: Samehe was well-known for being a sweet lioness, a little playful, and just a little curious. Currently, though, that attitude seems to have disappeared, or rather, changed into something a little more serious, a little more bitter. She feels like her life previous to the Dhati had been wasted, that she was going to die for nothing, and she's yet to recover from it. Even the truth that her brother hasn't come for her makes her sore, and she's now easier to irritate and upset. But, being raised as a Sacrifice, she never developed a real ambition or drive beyond expanding her world and experiencing new things. She does not possess an ounce of political ambition, and seems content to just follow the flow of things. Samehe wants to be where she believes she belongs, and for now that is the Dhati. Her loyalty to the Dhati has yet to be doubted after she resolved herself to be a true member of the group.

Description: Always an upstanding member of the Mizimu'Tungika and very proud Sacrifice-to-be, Alizeti's world is turned upside down by her "abduction" by the Dhati, which has made her a very conflicted individual. However, she is a naturally trusting soul and tries to be optimistic during difficult times. Charming and humble, her sincere nature makes her somewhat easy to manipulate, but when provoked she will defend the ones she loves, particularly her siblings.

Description: Fierce and collected, Malaika can and will put up a front to please those who need pleasing for her own ambitions. She is easy to agitate, but will often temporarily hide her anger until it is safe. The irate Malaika is prone to physically unleash her temper on anything nearby--it is a good thing she is able to keep her sense about at most times, or there would be many lion deaths unaccounted for.

Description: Like his fur suggests, Kwa Hofu is fearful and jumpy, though he often tries to act brave and impressive, it’s rarely a convincing act. However, many years of running have made him a very nimble and fast lion, rather observant too, as long as he’s level headed, he’s not that bad an asset.

Description: Skugga spent a lot of her early days in the shadow of her bright sister and, despite what she might tell you now, she did it willingly. She loved her sister, wanted to be just like her and didn't really mind that someone else did the thinking for her. Joining the Dhati was perhaps her first independent decision, even if it was heavily influenced by the lions who first told her about them. She now focuses her seemingly endless energy into warrior training, and her love for her sister is replaced by burning hatred. Most of the time, she still leaves the thinking to someone else.

As the war begins to draw to its inevitable conclusion, I'll be updating this thread with the fate of the Dhati members. Please keep an eye out for the official wrap-up RPs, so that you know what happened (and what will happen in the future) to your SoA. And, as always, feel free to PM the mule if you have any questions, concerns, thoughts, or whatever! I'm always happy to discuss potential plots - and this event was designed to leave the participants with plenty of plot fodder.
All owners of deceased SoA will be provided with a compensatory reward, as stated, with the exception of those marked as MIA. All rewards will be distributed after the plot has been wrapped up, and will likely be posted in this sub-forum so that I don't have to PM over 9000 people.

--The OOC Summary--
The Mizimu'Tungika
Alizeti (Illuseon) met her end during the war, lost to an ill-conceived escape attempt. While trying to make her way back to the Mizimu'Tungika she was met by Hodari and his patrol on their covert mission to reclaim the Sacrifices. Unfortunately Alizeti's claims of undying loyalty to the Mizimu'Tungika fell upon deaf ears. She was sacrificed by the Vates as the Warriors held her down, protesting all the while.
Chuuza (wooga Paes) was killed by an unknown assailant in the tense time leading up to the war. Her body was arranged in a grotesque mockery of the sacrifices performed by the Mizimu'Tungika, and her pelt was removed. None of the lions within the pride noticed her disappearance.
Tahir (Meeki) was slain by the leopard he believed was responsible for the death of his sister. He died during the main conflict of the war, but it took weeks before the Veteran he reported to noticed his absence. His replacement was quite eager to step in - nobody questioned the reason for his disappearance, and nobody cared.
Maisha'uhaini (Talencia) was found after the battle had died down, alongside the immobile form of his killer. While he did not manage to kill the spiderwebbed male, his courage was noted by the Mizimu'Tungika and his spirit was given the honour of being mentioned during their acknowledgement of the dead. The members of the Heart confirmed that he did indeed redeem himself in the eyes of the spirits, and that he will be born free of the green stain of cowardice in his next life.
Yuusa (Pearlyblue) had been at risk of being stripped of the honour of her position as a Sacrifice, in the wake of her questionable actions leading up to the war. However, her bravery during the altercation with the two Dhati members (and Kivuli's recommendations) ensured that the entire pride look upon her favourably now. Even the dishonourable actions of her sister are not dark enough to stain her pristine reputation.
Una (Honey Gee) has been removed from her rank as Sacrifice, due to the taint upon her spirit caused by her actions leading up to the war. Her fate will be determined alongside her captured sister, at the hearing.
Jalani (Remove) performed his duties as a Warrior to the best of his abilities, and was responsible for killing many members of the Dhati during the battle. He emerged with nothing more than minor scrapes and bruises, and many stories to brag about (so that he can impress the lionesses, of course!).
The Dhati
Ufahami'tatuka (Natsube) was captured during the post-battle clean up. When told that her mate had already been captured by Sakata, she did not put up a fight at all. Soon after her capture it was discovered that there was another reason she did not fight - Ufahami was with child.
Shwari (TheMadHatter) was killed by Raruo, after she tried to plead for her brother's life. As an escaped Sacrifice and one of the original members of the Dhati, the reclamation of her spirit by the Veteran was perhaps a higher honour than she deserved. In the end, she was sacrificed so that her brother could live to pay for his crimes.
Mazimwi'koya {Animechickie) suffered a painful and lingering death under the claws of a Veteran, after an ill-advised attempt to play at war with his companion Skugga (Annchen). He paid for their mistake with his life - Skugga paid with her freedom.
Kwa Hofu (Venexia), Hamwoni (fuKurohane), and Uta (Sasu Berry) all died during the war, their bodies lost among the corpses that littered the land.
Magadi'Afya (Felyn) was captured by Sakata after critically wounding a Mizimu'Tungika Haruspex. With his pregnant mate also captured by the enemy, Magadi is helpless to prevent his fate. Now if only he knew what the Warleader had in store for the survivors...
Malaika (Ameh) spent the war itself under heavy guard among the protected non-combatants of the Mizimu'Tungika. After Magadi paid her for her betrayal by ripping out her tongue, Sakata took the treacherous royal cousin as a captive. Her ultimate fate will be determined alongside the Dhati survivors.
Mwako'damu (Skye Starrfyre) was captured by the Veteran Raruo, and brought back to the Mizimu'Tungika to pay for his crimes. The reclamation of his sister has paid for some of the damage they did to the pride, but the rest of the penalty he must suffer will be determined along with the other captives.
Bakunja (Kijani) was brought to the Mizi lands as a captive, after his incapacitated form was found near the corpse of a (former) coward. The full extent of his punishment will be determined at the hearing.
Petra (Mimsey) submitted freely to her fate, after being convinced to give herself up by both Una and Shinda. Her fate will be determined alongside her disgraced sister, at the hearing.
Samehe (Krysin) was brought in by Hodari'Nafsi and his covert team, as an unworthy former Sacrifice. Rather than taint his claws with her blood, the Vates captured her so that she may pay for her crimes to the Mizimu'Tungika.
Aparajita (Sayuri_Nitta) was bested by Senka, and dragged back to Mizi lands where she could be subdued and brought to justice.
Vunjika (Melodine_Cantus) and Priyasha (Iris_Virus) were both captured by the Mizimu'Tungika youth, and two lionesses. Their fates will be determined at the hearing.
Unguzo'Damu (Excited Apathy) survived the war, largely unscathed. And as the Dhati were slaughtered, captured, or driven away... he found that he was overlooked. His fate is his own now, to do with as he pleases.
