For Halloween, I decided to start an ongoing project for a steampunk outfit. Below are some images of what I have done so far. I do apologize for the obvious rush job on my costume. I do plan on having a better design in the future.
Behold! Steampunk Fairy attempt #1! Hehe.
The flight wings are actual antique paratrooper wings I acquired from a local antique store. The fairy wings will eventually have actual gear work in the box and everything will be colorized properly. By the way, rebar is not so fun to bend by hand when you have to match two pieces up, lol.
As a side note, I won 3rd place in the college's costume contest that day. The other two were store bought costumes as far as I know.

Wow. I actually like it. Can't wait to see it finished though. I'm working on some things at the moment, but may not actually be done for a while. Hope to remedy that eventually. Pics from me later. And keep up the good work.

Thanks! I don't really have a steamy outfit yet, that stuff is just what i wear normally. lol Unfortunately i don't have a fedora yet, it's a bowler. One of these days i'm gonna save up to buy one cuz i LOVE them. biggrin

Fedoras are really cool, when you do get one be sure to get some kind of feather, I would reccomend phesant, because otherwise it makes you look like you are part of the mafia razz

Here's a picture of me from a couple of days ago. It was really no special occasion like for a con or anything, I just felt like wearing it. ^^

Here are some designs for a short film I was working on..... We didn't get the ten thousand needed, but anyway.....
I fired my first production designer and hired a beautiful and talented young artist named Amber Workman, and we started giving the film less medieval and more steampunk. To fit with this theme, we hired a costume designer to reflect this change.
