Innocent to a fault, and difficult to corrupt. He'll watch a porno with you and ask the name of the band playing during the naughty bits. Compulsively curious, and needs to stick his nose everywhere - especially where it doesn't belong. Believes in the best of people and things, and will actively try to spread his idealistic world view. He doesn't believe you when you say you're not good at anything and no one likes you - Rubidium likes you, and he'll be your cheerleader when no one else will.

Tiny. Light as a feather. And when excited, upset, or pretty much anything else, Ru tends to 'flare' - parts of himself will slowly bubble, writhe and twitch around like solar flares. He doesn't know why and it has absolutely no apparent use other than indicating his mood.

Easygoing because otherwise he'd be a nervous wreck. Tries to stay positive in the face of constant criticism, which is pretty hard to do when your parents are convinced you wasted your time in college just to 'poke at dead things all day like some kind of Doctor Frankenstein'. Not very easy to scare, but has an overactive imagination. Likes a good joke and will go out of his way to share one with someone he feels needs it - and he's often right.

Eyes are weak, so Andy wears very, very thick glasses, resulting in eyes that are slightly magnified beyond normal range - often called Bug-eyes by uncreative collegues. Tall, a little scrawny, and has a mop of hair that curls of its own accord and has yet to listen to reason whenever Andy tries to tame it.
