Ok. I don't know why I'm doing this. I'll probably get writer's block and never finish.
Here I'll have the usual four (Yusuke, Hiei, Kurawbara, and Kurama) as well as two of my made-ups. You can see my journal if you want to know more about them. And I want to try not to have my character up stage the originals to much. (Is that breaking fanfic rules anyway?)
The sky had darkened as they approached the island. Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, Gekken, and Kiya sat in the boat untill it reached the docks. They looked around them once on land. Buildings were torn down, the streets were filthy. On one was around. The only activity was the wind picking up dirt.
"Where is everyone," Yusuke asked.
"Gone," Kiya replied as she began to walk away.
The others followed her through the deserted streets. Everyone was quiet. They came to a house. Kiya walked in, they others followed. She went into the living room and towards the fireplace. Above hung a fading picture. On it was a four people --a man, a woman, a little girl, and a baby. Kiya stared at it.
"What are doing here? The bad guys aren't here," Yusuke complained.
"Yeah, we didn't come here to go site seeing," Hiei agreed.
"Kiya?" Gekken walked to Kiya's side. He looked at the picture. "Whoa."
Kurama also looked. "Is this your family?"
"Yes," Kiya answered.

"You're mom was kind of hot," Yusuke said, hands behind his head.
"Urimeshi [?]! I can't believe you said that," Kuwabara hollared. "What would Keiko think if she heard you say that?"
"I was a cute kid," Gekken said. He closed his eyes as he laughed at himself.
Kiya remianed silent as she remembered what happened that day her parents died.
"I'm bored," Hiei complained. "We didn't come here for site seeing."
"Yeah. And I'm ready to do some pounding," Kuwabara agreed.
"As if you really could."
"You say something shorty?"
"Lets go I'm done here," Kiya finally replied.
The group left the house and headed for the center of the city. Kiya stopped to look back. Her hand went to her locket she always wore. Realizing the others didn't notice she stopped, Kiya quickly turned to follow.

In the center of the city there is a castle that was built ten years ago. Those who conquered the island now reside there. Within it, the leader Begora sits his lair watching...waiting.
"Lord, Begora." a tall beauty entered the room. Dark blue hair constantly swirled around his head. His icy blue left eye danced with his firey red right eye. His robes danced as he stood still. The wind seemed to travel with him.
"What is it, Jino?"
"There are people on the island. They came with demons."
"I know."
"One of them is the girl. The others appear to be that team that won the Darkness Tournament last time, Yusuke and his friends."
"Very good. Jino, we must welcome our guests. Tell Grindo to great them."
"As you wish." Jino disappeared in a wisp of air.

"Are you certain Grindo will be able to handle them?" A gruff voice emitted from the shadows.
"Not really. I just want to see how good they really are. As if that were any business yours, Stint."
A pale-faced, horned demon stepped from the shadows. His black hair and ghoattee and dark eyes stood out in stark contrast to his pale complection. "It isn't. I'm just concerned you may be making a bad decision by not just killing them now, one by one."
"I have my way of doing things. You know that. Besides, I like giving my victims a fighting chance. Oh, and don't worry. I'm sure you'll have your turn."

Kiya stopped and looked around for a moment.
"What is it, Sis?" Gekken asked his sister.
"It feels like we're being watched."
"There's not telling, we might be," Kurama stated.
"I've been having that same feeling," Hiei echoed Kiya's feeling.
"Yeah, I just got this cold feeling all of a sudden." Kuwabara shivered.
"You sure that isn't just because you don't have a jacket," Yusuke said to tease Kuwabara.
"Well...uh..."
"Quiet," Kurama suddenly said.
"What is it, Kurama?" Yusuke asked.
"I thought I heard something."

"I didn't hear anything. Kurama you sure you're not just hearing things?"
"Of course you didn't hear anything. You're are nearly as good as Kurama's." Hiei smarted.
"You know your gonna reget making fun of me one of these days, Hiei."
"I'm sure I heard something."
"I think we're being followed," Kiya said.
"Alright. Who ever is out there come out," Yusuke called out, "unless your afraid we might pound you."
A small nasally voice spoke, "No. Just waiting for an oportune moment." A short figure appeared standing upon some rubble. A large grin spread across his face, His white teeth stooding out from his red skin. Two horns protruded from his forehead. His large pointy ears twitched. "So which one one of you will fight me?" he said as he strong his white mohawk.
"It's an imp!" Gekken said excitedly. "I've always wanted to see one of those!"
Imps: masters of fire and illusion.
Yusuke laughed. "Is that the best they got?"
The demons face fell. "Hey! I'll have you know that--"
Yusuke continued to laugh as Kuwabara said, "Man, he's short. But not shorter than you."
Hiei glared at Kuwabara, but then retorted, "But he still makes you the dumbest one here."
"Why you..." Kuwabara attempted to hit Hiei, but he just stepped out of the way. Kuwabara fell to the ground.
"Oh, come on you two. Do you have to fight now?" Gekken injected.
"The kids right," the little red demon said, "fighting like that and you'll never make off this island alive."
"You don't know that. You have know idea how powerful we are," Yusuke said.
The demon laughed. "Yes I do. I also know you will all fall here."
"Who do you think you are anyway?"
"I am Grindo."
