As Ian continued his rampage through the forest, he came across two young sprites crying in the woods. He created a temporary leash on his temper as his wings faded to a light orange color and he approached the two, "What are you two doing out here?"
the little girl cowered behind her brother and sobbed, "My twin... She's gone."
The little boy patted her back and tried to comfort her, "She went inside that large human building there, and hasn't come back out for about an hour now."
Ian nodded, "Alright, Bring me to this place, and I'll retrieve her for you two... Gives me something to take my rage out on..." he muttered as he followed the two darkly colored sprites.
After a twenty minute hike they arrived at a large brick structure, "She went in there..." they said while pointing to a now closed window.
Ian shuttered at the vibes coming from the place, but he had a job to do... whether he wanted to or not. He swallowed the ball of fear stuck in his throat and lifted the heavy glass window and entered the massive building.

The staff could tell Toole wasn't being lazy in checking everything. However, he turned to go into the next room, and looking at the room number he moved on down skipping it. It was the last room on the list for the day before his daily allotment of files to sift through till the end of the day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The room was tore to pieces, and there was blood on the walls. The curtains were shredded, the dust on the room seemed to indicate that no one was occupying this room for some time. Then out of nowhere a shriek sounded from far off.
Ian looked around the room he was in and found a little boy in a white gown in the corner, holding a teddy bear by the neck. He shuttered slightly at the disturbing sight and made his way toward the door before he changed into his human form.
Just as he reached the door, the little boy spun around and slammed Ian into the door with his teddy bear, "BAD BUG! BAD BAD BUG!" the boy screamed as he began stomping and trying to crush Ian.
Ian gave up on trying to run away immediately, and just played dead, hoping the lad would leave his bruised body be.
The little boy stared at the seemingly lifeless "bug" and shuffled back to his corner crying about how he killed a pretty glowy bug.
Ian decided that it would be better to change now, rather than getting squished again. He rose to his feet and quickly transformed, then attempted to open the door and cursed.
The little boy turned around again and stared at Ian, "Are.... You an angel?" he asked between his short sobs.
Ian shook his head, "Do you need one?" he asked curious as to why he would think Ian was an angel.
"Mommy said An angel would rescue me from this place..." the boy replied in a quivering voice as he began to cry again.
Ian sighed and stood the boy on his feet, "Here.... I'll make a deal with you. We switch clothing, and you can go free, Alright?"
"Where do I go from there mister angel?" the little boy asked with a oddly innocent smile.
"Walk into the woods a good yard and hold out this amulet when you find a clearing. "Ian said as he began to strip off his clothing, "You will see a bunch of glowey bugs and they will help you." Ian added sternly, "But you have to promise not to squish them, Okay?"
The little boy nodded and slipped off his gown, then slipped into Ian's pants and took the crystallized maple leaf mounted by a swirling silver design on a thick silver chain.
"What should I do with the Necklace when the buggy's find me?"
"Tell them after they get you to safety, bring it to a girl named Jezabelle." Ian growled, clearly getting irritated as he frantically threw the robe on.
"I have one more question Mister Angel..." The little one whispered, "... Are you going to save us?"
Ian paused and looked back at the kid. He was standing there clinging to his teddy bear, and trying so hard not to cry. Ian's heart melted and he cooed, "I will try."
The boy's face lit up and Ian hoisted him out the window, "Alright, Now run!"
He took off at quite a fast pace and Ian watched as he disappeared into the forest cover.
Turning back to the task at hand, he stared at the door in disbelief, "How the hell will I get out of this room..."
The sound of wheels, and then the jingle of keys was heard. The slot at the bottom of the door just big enough for a tray was opened and a tray of what was supposed to be food was tossed in. "You know the drill kid, and quit throwing the tray across the hall or we'll make the demons come back, and we know how much you like it when they come to visit."
Ian barely gave the mush a glance, and vanished it for future evidence. 'Psh... Demons? There not so scary. The only frightening thing is Lady Akuma when she's pissed...' he shuttered at the thought and turned into his sprite form, stealthily slipping through the tray slot on the door and beginning his search for the missing sprite.
as he walked along the sides of the walls he noticed a map on the other side of the room and took a peek. there were two large wings on either side of a large tower like building that had five floors. From experience, Ian knew that when sprites got horribly lost and confused they tried their best to go up, Since they were flying creatures. So going up would be his best bet.
after analyzing the map a bit longer he made his way to the entrance of the main structure and began his trek to the five floor structure.
Toole set yet another file on a stack of files that were not showing the needed changes since he was here last, and despite his hopes it looked like another administrator was about to be announced which meant another trip over here once he was found and appointed by Isabella. One of those hot shot healers from the infirmary in Arias probably, and come in making a big impression yet it always seemed to never have an explanation for the way things are now.
Toole leaned back in his chair and stared at the lamp wondering what Ailes was doing right now.
Grumbling and groaning the whole way, Ian continued his search through the endless structures halls and found himself on the top floor. Seeing that no one was around, He transformed back into his human form and began running around looking for the missing kid.
Toole heard footsteps running about, but every time he got close they would change direction. He eventually moved to a center point in the floor and sure enough he caught sight of a head just above a long stack of boxes, and Toole took off after it. It took a minute to catch up considering the shelves and stacks of books, and old furniture piled about the various interconnected rooms.
He figured whomever knew they were being followed now due to the fact Toole was having a hard time keeping up with the twists and turns. Toole tired of this and stopped chasing; "Look, I'll give you 10 minutes to stop and come out and talk, or so help me I'll have every orderly and nurse lock this floor down. and start combing through everything."
Ian popped up over the stack of books and glared at Toole, "You run this place?!" He leapt over the table separating the two and slammed him against a wall, "You starve little children, Torture them with starving demons, Inject them with "Random Prescriptions.""
Ian made the platter of glop appear on the table, "You feed them this... Does this even look edible to you?" he asked as he walked over and took the platter in his hands, "The little boy who owned these clothes before I did was crouched in a corner sobbing over a ripped up teddy bear in which he was strangling. The boy was starved, his eyes bloodshot and black from abuse." tears filled his eyes as he looked at the blood on the light blue gown, "He thought I was an Angel Toole.... an Angel!"
Ian's eyes turned red as he met Toole's eyes, "I trusted you with Jezabelle, And if I live through this... I will take her from you." Ian pushed passed Toole and left the room. throwing the platter of glop back on the table for Toole to look at.
Toole gave chase and grabbing Ian by back of the shirt, it was his turn to be shoved against a wall, this time a sword blade was pressed to near breaking the skin. Toole was pissed and it showed through tone and grip on the shirt. "First of all I do not run this place, I oversee it, and report my findings back to my queen. If i did run this place, I would destroy it and move the patients to the infirmary in Arias where they can be kept under closer eye by court officers. Second thing, don't you ever threaten me about taking Jezabelle, and she had better be at home when I return. I am her legal guardian, not you, because where were you when she stuck in this place? Where were you when Isabella granted me guardianship? you could have spoke up then and had her all to yourself. You had your chances then, I took over because you weren't there, if anyone has betrayed trust it was you for not being there for her when she was in here. You don't take what you haven't a right to anymore."
Toole let him go but kept his sword out taking a few steps back.
"I didn't stand in the way of your relationship with Jez recently, because it made her happy to have you around again. Happier then she has been in a long time, but you threaten me once more Ian You won't see her again until she is of age to be an adult. I promise you that right now face to face."
If Ian weren't half stunned by Toole's words he would have turned that sword back on him. Despite the rage built up inside him, the speech swirled around in his mind, bits and pieces falling down like daggers piercing his heart. Ian closed his eyes and vines began crawling up from the floor. they wrapped around Toole and held him in an upright position.
Ian turned away from him leaving the room in silence. just before he closed the door behind him he looked back at Toole with tears in his eyes and smiled, "You already got what you wanted... You don't have to wait for me to screw up again..." Ian looked down at the floor and let the door slowly slide closed.
Toole summoned and illusion of himself and it took his sword and hacked the vines away. Toole dispelled the illusion as he hit the steps, and he kept going down till he hit the first floor. He opened the door to the administrators office thoroughly interrupting a staff meeting. The door slammed behind him.
It opened several minutes later, and everyone was running off in different directions. The administrator didn't come out after Toole, but he began to roam the halls and if he saw a staff member slacking off he chewed them out. The nurses who liked him when he got there, soon began to hate him as he had to reeducate them on proper record keeping and medications. Of course they pushed the blame on the hospital administrator, but that excuse was quickly shot down on the fact they possessed a will of their own to protect the patients they serve from people who do them harm.
Ian's search came out empty handed and by sunset he found himself at the ground floor staring at a set of stairs going down.
"Would a sprite really go that far down without finding an exit..." he asked himself while deciding whether to go past his comfort levels and into the basement of this horrible place.
After flashing back through a few memorable quotes from his father, he came to the conclusion that since he was the last in the royal line, and leader of the northern sprites... he must go down and look for the lost sprite child.
After reverting back to his teen form he began the slow and tedious descent down the rickety flight of stairs.
Jezabelle went to the only building in range of the spot that the sprites showed her. She shivered seeing its bleak walls, but knew all to well what went on in there. She moved around to where the graveyard bordered the woods and she turned to the sprites; "You all stay here, and pass the word on that no one is to ever go in there no matter what happens."
Jezabelle broke out of the trees keeping low to use the gravestones as cover, , and moving along the wall she came to where the lines were strung out for the laundry. She snagged off the line a female patient dress, and entered in through the open laundry door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Toole was in the southeast wing second floor rechecking every patient chart to what their conditions were, and just shook his head at the sloppy work and rewrote new instructions making the correct course of action to get the patients proper care. He was getting tired and after Ian's actions he was in the mood to tear this place down and start over someplace else."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A passing staff member that worked on that floor noticed the back of Ian's shirt disappear into the dark of the stairway. He had to smile a little, but he moved over to a statue of a woman carrying a bow. He pulled on the bow a couple of times to alert those down below of a incoming intruder. He continued on with what he was told to do by Toole.
Ian shuffled through the damp concrete halls, his bare feet making a slight patting noise as he went. he rounded a corner to find a little girl with almost transparent skin strapped to a cold metal table in nothing but a thin white summer dress that came to her knees. her eyes were wide open and bloodshot.
He shivered at the sight and slipped into the room, hopefully unnoticed, to see if there was any way to release the girl.
As he got closer to her he noticed she was shaking and twitching at random. her eyes were moving side to side in a fast jittery pace, and she was mumbling something in her half dazed, tense state.
Ian touched the girls hand and she snapped her head in his direction and grabbed his fingers to the point of breaking them. as he tried to pull away her mouth dropped open and she let out the highest pitched scream he had ever heard.
Trying to pull away was futile considering she was grabbing his hand so hard that the carpals were beginning to fracture and break like twigs. Ian screamed in pain as he dropped to his knees and eventually passed out. Partially from pain, and partially from the heart stopping screams of that little girl.
~~~~~~~~
Ian awoke in a room similar to the one he passed out in. However, there was no table. the walls were perfectly white and the smelt like a hospital. Everything was completely sterile from what he could see, but as he sat up, he quickly found himself chained to the wall; again.
'Bloody hell... What's up with these people and bondage?' He snarled as he tried to pull at the cuffs and found himself to be completely numb. "Wha?" he gasped as he realized it was incredibly difficult to move any part of his body, "What's going on!" He shouted to the walls, expecting an answer.
~~~~~~~~
Ailes notices Jezabelle slipping into a door to the towering gloomy building before her. A bad aura surrounded the building that gave Ailes a feeling of helplessness and despair. she shivered as she neared the door and reluctantly entered through the same doors just behind Jezabelle.
