Rainer walking along the cool ground, grimacing at the fog around her. In her gloved hand was a small ball of flame, controlled by her alchemy. She used it as a light through the fog. She looked up at the sky, seeing the clouds block the moon. She sighed. "The twenty-ninth of December. How times have gone by." she said to herself, her melodic voice soft in the woods around her. She was supposed to be reaching a small town by tomorrow night, but being a vampire had its advantages.
And disadvantages.
She needed to find a place to hide before the sun rose. She had a good few hours, since the night only just started. Perhaps a few animals would cross her path as well. She could survive another day without blood, but she would rather be supplied.
She decided to amuse herself by tossing the ball of flame back in forth in her hands, smiling to herself.
"I hope no humans are out at this time of night. They really should listen to those horror stories that their mothers tell them as children. I know I should have." she said, laughing to herself.
She blinked, seeing an opening in the forest. Had she reached the town already.
"Yay!" she said excitedly, running towards the opening. She reached it quickly, seeing the forest end and the cobbled road beginning. She continued her walk, staring at the little houses and buildings. "How quaint." she said, smiling as she let her flame disappear.

Rainer stopped immediately when she heard a voice. Loud and commanding. She stiffened, her odd colors eyes brightening slightly. "My name is Rainer Maire! Who are you?" she said, her tone musical, but strong. Her flame out, she took a few good steps.

Rainer blinked, surprised by the sudden speed. Well...that rules out human quickly, doesn't it? Hmm..perhaps a lycan? she thought, scanning his eyes.
"How do I know you are not simply tricking me?Perhaps you are the authorities, trying to con me into admitting something I'm not. So why should I listen to you? You haven't even given me a name." she said, smiling sweetly. Lycan or not, she wasn't a ditzy piece of fluff to go with whoever she met.
