The Phantom item 666

The show is full of tear jerking moments...which one hit you hardest?
I cry when Epionine is looking at Cosette and Marius together at the Rue Plumet and when she dies in Marius' arms. You could go through life and never know someone is there, you have to take a chance and tell that someone what you really feel or else you could really ******** up.
When Fantine dies and there's just that piano playing... crying
When Fantine and cosette come to take ValJean to Heaven...
One part in particular gets me...When the guy on the other side of the barricade says "...You have no chance! no chance at all! Why through your lives away?" and they attack one more time...it just...I cant even explain it...

The one part that gets me is when Gavroche goes out for the bullets and gets shot twice. They play that for alllllll ittttts worth. They milk it. and it works each and every time.

Wow...This won't be obvious at all... ninja xd

The part that REALLY gets me is Javert's suicide. It's just so depressing! The poor man's life is shattered, just by one act of kindness.. gonk

Oh snap...saddest part? Gah...there are like...five....>_<

However, first one that comes to mind is Enjolas' death. I mentioned it in another post (I forget what the topic was...)...but it's just...horrible. I always bawl.

Second that comes to mind is Gavroach (ack! I can't spell! -whimpers-). Another one that's just terrible. He's so young...and it just hurts my heart to think about it.

I'm not going to mention anymore though I easily could...because I'm getting sad now. I need to go listen to something happy now....

It isnt sad but it does make me cry when at the end they say "To love another person is to see the face of god..." It's so true...I always think of my mom whenever i hear that.

That is one of my favorite lines in the show. I don't know why it just is.

Anyway, the saddest parts for me are:

Fantine's death cry
Eponine's death crying
Gavroche's death cry
Enjolras's death cry
Javert's death crying cry crying crying
Empty Chairs at Empty Tables cry
Valjean's death crying cry

Need I say that there's a pattern? I personally think that all the death scenes are the most poignant moments. I swear, I cry so much during this show . . .

I think the part that gets to me every time I watch it and listen to it is the scene after the final fight and everything has gone still. The instrumental melody for "Bring Him Home" starts to play and when the barricade finally turns as the music swells, I invariably start to cry. The politics, the humanity, and whatever else is just heart-breaking.

I've only seen the 10 year anniversary show, but seeing Eponine dying in Marius' arms always brings me to tears.

Saddest moments? When they all die . All the revolutionaries died bravely *sniff*.

well, i've got 2 parts that made me cry a lot when i saw it:

1. Gavroche's de.ath. mainly because i had only listened to the highlights and i had no clue Gavroche died. (this is when i was a fan, but not an OBSESSIVE fan) But then he started singing this song I never heard before ("need somebody quicker and i volunteer!") and the gunshots were really loud. yeah, i sobbed at that point because i had a crush on the guy playing lil' Gavvy!

2. On My Own always hits me hard, basically because it reminds me of all my crushes.

The song you mean is Little People and they have it in its entirety in the British version.

I don't like when Javert dies, or when Fantine dies, or when Valjean dies. Victor Hugo must of been depressed...

There are so many sad parts of the play
1)Fantines death. she died thinking that she would once more see her little Cosette when they were never reunited
2)Eponine watching Marius and Cosette in the Rue Plumet, realizing that she could never have him ((during the song One Day more))
3)Gavroche dying, after all, he was only 10. He died a hero, trying to save the barricade. He will always be remembered and it really got to me when I saw it in the movie and the littkle kid called out *PAPA!* and it also got to me when I watched my bf ((who played Gavroche in our schools production)) die crying
4) And who could forget Javert's suicide, his life was abruptly ended because of one little act of kindness of which he couldnt underdstand
5)And last but not least, Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, a song about one man who lost it all, one man who in a day lost all those dear to him ((except for Cosette)), one man whose life was forever changed in one day
