In the "introductions" thread, I discovered that a lot of you guys like the same stuff I do. Here's a thread to discuss our current obsessions (other than Skip Beat, of course. That's a given >w<)
My current obsession is Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni (Kai/Rei) and I declare any of you who have watched it awesome. I'm even cosplaying Furude Rika next time theres an anime convention in my area.

Omg!
I don't know where to begin here!!!
Well first off...
SAILOR MOON!!!
I mean you have no idea how much I love Sailor Moon!
Uhm...
Then there's Nana!!!
As you can see from the picture I posted...
I cosplayed as her a coupld weekends ago at my hometowns local anime con.
Other anime/manga obsessions...
~ Sailor Moon, Nana, anything Yu Watase (Fughigi Yugi, Ceres, Zettai Kareshi, ect), anything CLAMP (Chobits, Tsubasa, Cardcaptor Sakura, Holic, Magic Knight Rayearth, ect), Bleach, Beauty Pop, Ouran High School Host Club, Negima, Love Hina, Vampire Knight, Shugo Chara, La Corda d'Oro, and .....
(These are series that I collect. Still growing and it won't stop!)
Other anime/manga that I enjoy...
~ Pokemon, YuGiOh, Paradise Kiss, anything Miki Aihara (Tokyo Boys and Girls, Hot Gimmick, ect), Tramps Like Us (Kimi wa Pet), Model, Gilgamesh, Cowboy Bebop, and .....
I think I need to stop...
I mean that list can go on and on!
I just love anime in general!
But most importantly...
I only read manga that has good art...
It could have the BEST freaking storyline in the entire universe!
But if the art is what I find to be "crap" then I will NOT read it.
Here are some anime/manga that I have on my "ok" list.
These are only OK because I personally think america and idiot little american kids ruined them OR I just think that they are "ok"...
~ InuYasha, DeathNote, DragonBall/Z, Princess Ai, Gantz, and well there are more but my brain isn't functioning right now...
Anime/manga that I do NOT like include...
~ Naruto, Code Geass, Ghost in the Shell, and... Well not much here because I like most anime.
And yes I have watched/read them before and no I still do not like them.
Say whatever you want.
Nothing you say can or will change my mind.
Everyone is different.
If you can't handle that...
Then get used to it!

There to many to say in both catagories gonk O well I'll state that the one manga I love is Negima cause it was my first manga seires and i find it awsome heart As for current Anime obsession its Umineko No Naku Koro Ni Cause it new of this summer and its from the maker of higurashi no naku koro ni and its the same layout as question and answer arc's but only 4 episodes are out so far cause it that new xd Also just like Kfinity if the art is not good then I dont read it no matter how good the storyline might be... My current manga obsessions:
Skip Beat! (one of my all time favorites in my 17 years of life.lol)
Kimi no Tokode (Really cute. most current obsession.)
Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro (Neuro so cool. Love the comedy in this one.)
Defense Devil (reminds me of death note. Guess because of the shinigamis but who cares. Anyways love the main character always trying the save his client even though he might lose his life as well and they might be guilty.)
Meister (well this one is old but i love it anyway. Raiho is so cute, love his energy. Really wish they would have made it longer, 10 chapters was too short.*sigh*)
MAR (the series is old but i've recently read it. It reminded me of Rave master but better)
Fairy Tail (omg This one is also one of my favorites. Erza is so cool. Super love the comedy in this one.)
Kurohime (love the action in this one. And the love that Kurohime feels for Zero and how it changed her, and Kurohime's sexiness.... lol)
Record of a Fallen Vampire (Like the story. Although I kind of love/hate that the story makes you think one thing then changes it. You dont really know what the truth is.)
Midori Days (also old but recently read because of bored. Nya this is a really cute story love it.)
Ultimo (I like that it was made from Stan Lee and Hiroyuki Takei. Awesome art and story)
Arata Kangatari (Yuu Watase. all i have to say)
Bakuman (makers of Death Note. like how it gives us a look at a mangaka's life)
Ice Revolution (I love Misaki. She so cute in her own way. I like how she changed when she meet that one boy (ugh the name escapes me))
Mysterious Girlfriend X (cute/weird/funny. Like the bond the main characters have with saliva lol.)
Anime i dont really have one right now but my favorties are:
Bleach (fillers are starting to piss me off. That's why i stoped watching Naruto. But great action, intro and endings always love the music.)
Skip Beat! (it was good but manga better)
Toradora (never finished it but it was good went up to episode 18 or so)
D. Gray-man (Had some of the crappiest fillers but it was still cool)
Nana (omg love it. Made me cry alot)
Lovely Complex (omg the same with nana. Love it the comedy was funny and I really felt Risa's pain)
Kyo Kara Maoh (Nya Conrad!!! Love the comedy in this one. never finished though)
Gintama (only gotten into 6 episodes but find them hilarious although most of the time i dont know what they're taking about. lol)
ok i think that's all. sorry for writing alot... wow that took forever

Firstly...your signature made me lose The Game!! gonk Then back to the topic. xd Besides Skip Beat... Animes: Angelic Layer, Clannad/Clannad After Story, Hikaru No Go, Kaleido Star, Ouran High School Host Club, Princess Tutu, Romeo x Juliet, Spiral, Yu-Gi-Oh Mangas (and yes, I've likely seen the anime versions of these, but I consider them better in manga form): Case Closed, DNAngel, Fairy Cube, Fruits Basket, Full Moon O Sagashite, Pixie Pop, Tsubasa There are a few others, but I don't like to list them when I'm not very far into them yet... xp

My obbsessions? Well, the one obbsession that I always obsses over is Naruto! biggrin Other then that, my current obsession is....well besides Skip Beat and Naruto, there's nothing I obsess myself over. I like them, but I don't flip if the new manga doesn't come out.

Mmmh, my list of anime/manga obsessions can span a football field so I'll just list a few that I'm currently watching/reading now. whee
Ghost Hunt: I was watching the anime box set a little while ago, I really got into the whole ghost exorcising part of the series. The animation's pretty good and especially bloody when it comes to ghost scenes. oAO
lol, it's pretty good, even when most of their cases take about 5 episodes to solve. XD
Fairy Tail: From Hiro Mashima-sensei! I really enjoy watching Natsu (the fire-eating dragon slayer) and the gang practically bust up half a village to take down one monster for their job. lol
They've started production on an anime version too, so keep an eye out for that! 3nodding
Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: It's a hilarious livewire action series involving mafia battles and boxed weapons fueled by dying will flames. Flames have always been a great aesthetic and watching it in action in this series is pretty amazing, it's also very cute seeing how Amano-sensei has added animals as boxed weapons. :3
Darker Than Black: I just started watching the anime series a little while ago and I was very impressed by the work they've put into character design and animation. The action's fluid and graceful (as expected from the "Bones" company and director Tensai Okamura) and Hei's stoic/quirky nature will have you coming back for more.
Uh . . . that's all I can think of for now. =w=
