One of the symbols of a king's power is, of course, his crown. In the end it is only just that - a symbol - unneeded in the grand scheme of life and death. But a symbol can also hold more than one significance... Beyond lordship, this represents a bond in between brothers, an understanding that seems seldom achieved even in between true counterparts of influence, a gift given in ages pasts before the pantheon had faded and raised anew, now renewed once more. A success where others had tried... and failed.

1
An artisan, working mostly with fine silks to craft garments for the upper class. A young man devoted to his craft, and to his wife and their young daughter. He died in the time of War, distracting the armed men that rushed into his home while his wife escaped with his only child. This ornament represent loyalty against all odds - even death.

2
A child – merely 7 years old, full of life and energy, and with a love for the flowers that had grown so scarce in the last few years... at least until the time of Plague came forth and stretched out it's influence like a wave. Her young body was not enough to bear the strain of infections and she died in the arms of her mother. This ornament represents children - the smallest soul, who also can be the weakest, true innocence in the face of everything.
3

A fairy, who had followed an human friend into the city to visit – what happened to said friend was unknown to the god, but she died in the first lashing out of Gehenna. This one ornament represent the beings of greater mana, the fair folk such as fairies and elves, who in spite of it all, remain mortals.
4

Reina, the elder twin. A woman with the sense of detail, who had owned a jewelry store with her brother, the girl working mostly with the gemstones and the customers themselves. The twins had been inseparable in life, and would be likewise in death - both died while clearing out the pathways of the catacombs. This one represents attention to even the slightest of details, the stength of character of being who are, by nature, frail and finite compared to gods, as well as the faith of those who had laid their lives in the clearing of the catacombs.
5

Arator, the younger twin. A shy, kind man, who had owned a jewelry store with his sister, with him working mostly with the metal and wire-wrapping. The twins had been inseparable in life, and would be likewise in death - when Reina was caught in a cave-in, Arastor rushed to attempt to save her - neither came out. This one represents the care mortals hold for each other, the bonds so strong that can never be broken, as well as the faith of those who had laid their lives in the clearing of the catacombs.
6

Eric, a young mechanic, who could only barely even be considered an adult, his knack with machines coming in handy after the rebirth of the world, though the energy sources to run them was still rather rare. Not from Koiso, but had instead came to meet and follow the group of mortals on their way to the pantheon with Ishum and Anima. This one represents the resourcefulness and mortals even at their darkest hour, as well as the faith of those who had laid their lives in the clearing of the catacombs.
7

A musician of unknown name and origin. Much of the feel around the bone is faded, due to having been thrown in an open mass-grave, but even now, it still seems to play and sing... It represents, of course, Music - beloved even in the past, but now love and queen.
8

Bones found from the massive skeleton of a guardian beast, found in one of the closed-off branches of the Yggdrasil. Ankou could tell little about it, beside it's dedication to keep whatever it guarded safe, even at the price of it's own life, 'no one else will lose what I have lost...' He suspects that it's soul might have been absorbed into the World Tree as it mended itself to close off the wound, but he has no way to know for sure. It represent guardians, of which the Underworld once had plenty, and even his oldest son in this new age.
9

A bone taken from one of the merfolk found into the un-named water world Ankou and Tian Yue had found themselves within while making account of the remaining worlds. There is little that stands out about this, but it is likely a symbol of something else - of the younger brother's determination to accomplish his duty in spite of any danger, even while still diminished and somewhat mortal.
10

The last comes from a king, who lived in ancient times, strict and formal, the first soul to actually manage to give Ankou some trouble, though certainly not the last. It represent strength of character, the ruling aspects of mortal circles.
