I've read the first chapter of Vampuryan. You write really well and your story is intriguing...you immediately start off the story with an "icy moment" between your two lead characters..that makes you want to read on..

I'd say Twilight if you have suicidal thoughts. After the 4th page youll have the big urge to take a gun and shoot yourself in the head.
