The silver wolf was padding through Lull Forest, alone. His ears were erect, and his nose, alert. A shadow-walker's scent was on the air. Rustle thought he was heading towards a violent conflict. If he didn't find the dangerous predator first, it would find him.
Swiftly leaping over obstacles and dodging low branches, Rustle quickly made his way across the earth like the dusk. All movement came to a sudden halt when he heard a whimper. A cry... from a wolf! Rustle lunged in the direction of the cry, that's where the shadow-walker must be! Rustle arrived at the location of the distressed call, disappointed to discover there were no shadow-walkers in sight. Instead, he found a she-wolf, tangled in the mess the Walker left behind.
Rustle expressed his disappointment with a grunt. "What do you think you're doing? Where's your pack?" He asked, almost amused as he watched Boa try and free herself from the tangle of ropes.

Boa let out a whimper as someone came closer to her. Pressing her ears flat against her head, she thrashed about more, only to become more entangled in the mess. "I... I don't have a pack." she whined softly. "Just my brother and ... I don't know where he is." she gasped as she sucked in all the air she could to keep her rib cage from being prodded by something sharp on the end of the rope.
"H-help me?" she whimpered again, casting a rather desperate gaze to the wolf whom seemed content to just stand around and watch. Biting a piece of the rope, she began chewing though it got her nowhere fast.

Rustle took his time to carefully scan the area for any lurking danger. Confirming their safety, he analyzed Boa's problem. Yes, she's stuck. Yes, she needs help. Hmmm, what should I do? For a moment, he contemplated returning to the Shadow-walker's scent. But... if I help her out... The night's breeze stroked his gray fur as his thoughtful pose was broken. Finally, after that long pause, Rustle snatched the ropes in his maw.
"Alright, hold still." Rustle haphazardly yanked on the odd contraption until he seemed to be making progress.

Boa was hesitant at first, but when she began to regain mobility, her eyes light up. She could move her legs now and after a few more tugs she was able to get her first half untangled from the mess. "Its working!" she yipped excitedly. After one last budge and some effort, she was able to free her rear, but came bumping into the male wolf upon her escape. Her nose pressed to his, she blinked into his eyes for a few seconds before quickly turning away. "I-I'm sorry." she fumbled over her words, blushing greatly. "Thank you for...for freeing me." she added quickly with a timid grin.

"Unf."
Rustle dropped the trap from his jaw as the female bumped into him, and he blinked a few times as their noses met. He grinned wickedly and snuck a lick on her nose as she turned away.
"Don't worry about it, babe." He looked her over with mild interest, his tongue sliding over his fangs. "My name's Rustle. They call me Slick Silver..." Rustle's toothy, charismatic smile brightened his face. "Perhaps... we should find your brother?" But this wasn't his true intention. Especially if this female's brother was the protective type.

Boa blushed greatly as he licked her. "I-i..,. I'm Boa." she stuttered, finding it hard to get her words out. She flattened her ears to her head again, but when he mentioned her brother, her eyes widened. "Oh, but Archer will be so mad at me!" she yelped, almost scared. Her tail curled between her legs as she glanced from Rustle to the open fields where she had last seen her brother. "He may also not approve of you with me either." she tried grinning, but was rather embarrassed.

Rustle rolled his eyes. So this Archer was the protective type. "Angry with you? Approve... of us?" The silver wolf snorted, "Ohh, well. I guess he'd think it was better I just leave you here... with that trap on you. I bet that would make him happy." Rustle shook his head, shutting his eyes, soon reopening them with a more gentle disposition. "Well, forget that guy then. Let's do something. Just the two of us." He showed of his glimmering teeth in a sly grin.

Boa blinked at him for a few moments before she glanced about her. "Well... Big brother is sort of....boring." she said with a soft chuckle. "I don't see what harm that could do. After all, you....did save me." she said again, still feeling embarrassed that she had let one of those monsters trap her like that. Archer would no doubt scold her for it and she didn't exactly want to put up with that right now. "Alright. Where too?" she beamed a shy smile and wagged her tail a bit.

"Boring is right." Rustle swung around, holding his head high as he began to trot forward. "Let's hunt down those damned shadow-walkers that captured you." He paused, looking back at Boa. "Just the two of us!" He said, as if that would convince her.

Stuttering, Boa uttered... "H-h-hunt down... S-s-shh-shadow walkers? Are you mad?!" she cried, curling her tail between her legs and pressing herself into his side as if he would protect her against everything in the world. "Archer would kill me for sure.... if they don't!" she said in a whisper, lowering her head as if they could hear her every movements.
