Story: Have you ever heard of the Ouroboros? This creature of legend, a serpent eating its own tail, forming a circle. It represents a constantly re-creating life. A life never-ending and always starting over. This grotesque beast is depicted in religion and alchemic illustrations, its meanings the same. Eternal, immortal life. A life created from destruction and death. It is most commonly depicted in alchemy. "So," you ask, "why are telling me about such an fascinating and terrible creature?" Simple. These beasts live in our world. Beasts that are born with the tattoo-like mark of the Ouroboros on them and are born Immortals. They used to be called Humanculi, but their modern name is Immortal. They have amazing powers, live forever, and feed off a human consort. But, they can be hurt, like any creature in this world. If their consort is hurt, they feel and experience that hurt, ten-fold. They die if their lover is killed. So, the question is, my friend, are you one of these Immortals? Are you a consort? Or are you an innocent bystander, trying to figure out what the hell is happening to your world?
