I was just reading a thread on another forum where the members were discussing when they began having BDSM-related fantasies. I had my first taste of D/s ideas and fantasies related to them when I was 10-11, which seemed to be the mean age on there. My first fantasy was to be enslaved to a powerful vampire Master, being tortured and kicked around (kinda standard fantasy fare, I suppose). This fantasy came from roleplaying on Neopets, back when it allowed that kind of content.
When did you first have a BDSM-related fantasy or become aware of your interest in BDSM? How did it start?

I think I'm one of the strange cases.
Growing up I never really had that sort of fantasy, I guess technically I was living as a slave even as a child.
I grew up in a small farming community, and being the eldest most of the chores fell on me. I was punished rather harshly if I failed at any of my tasks.
It wasn't until I was 15 or so that I found the BDSM world. It was in that world that I lost myself and felt like I belonged. Of course that was many years ago, and as of lately, I'm not so sure I belong anymore.

Never had a vanilla phase. I was in with the bondage and discipline from the very start.

I have a very distinctive memory of being about six or seven and insisting that the boys in the neighborhood played princess and pirates with me. I was the princess and I looped a rope around my neck and had them try and reel me in. My parents used to sit in the window upstairs and look down and wonder what the hell I was doing... ="D The boy's had about the same reaction, but they wanted to play in my tree house, so they did what I wanted.
I also used to tie up my barbie dolls and so on and so forth. Anyways, it's always been an underlying thing in all my fantasies, ever since I was little. So, you know, heh heh. >o> That's my answer to that.

I started out sort of under duress from an ex (though I was 12, so the under duress is a bit explainable). I reacted... strongly to it not working out and became extremely mentally (well, maybe not extremely, but much more than I am now) abusive in a... not good way for a few years. Then I calmed down, and am still in that phase now.

I've had kinky daydreams and fantasies since I was very young. Since I had playmobile and would bring them in front of firing squads, or when I dreamt that I was attached to a lovely machine that was meant for sick, lovely purposes... and I've always been male in my daydreams. When I was six, I would put socks down my pants and pretend I had a p***s. <.<

Good question.
I've always had a thing for constraint, pain, power, control. When I was very young I masturbated to thoughts of powerful/scary figures or vulnerable figures.
(I'm a switch obv.)
As far as actually discovering kink... I didn't start learning about the scene or scening until I was 17 and a guy from college educated me.
I had vaguely heard of it before that, I had heard of "BDSM" and looked it up, read a FAQ on a BDSM forum and didn't go any further than a passing interest until the aforementioned guy.

I'm somewhat new to the scene, but am finding out more about my physical and mental and emotional limits all the time. but i never really had a vanilla phase or anything. my first time included nylon rope, a whip and a few other things. That was about five years ago in five days. Even when i started "exploring" my body as a young child, i would have some sick and twisted fantasies. But ashley is the one who introduced me to bdsm. I wouldn't change that for the world.

I started having mini-fantasies when I was nine or so... That was the year I read my first rape scene in a book... over and over and over and over... and the year that I got really mad because the boys I played with said I had to be the one who was taken prisoner in everything because I was a girl.. xD I wanted to be the one taking the prisoners, not being taken! And when I was thirteen, I bumped into BDSM when I was poking at a friend's guild list... XD He happened to have this guild on it and I ended up joining for all of an hour, getting screamed at by the person I was "dating" and his best friend, leaving, and then coming back once I was in a better relationship. I've learned about it on and off since I "discovered" it.
