Known in my house as Baltimore Cookies, these tasty treats are simple, quick and delicious.
Makes about four dozen
2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa *2/3 of a stick butter, room temp. 1/4 cup peanut butter 3 cups quick-cooking oats
Combine sugar, milk, cocoa and butter in medium saucepan. Place over medium-high heat and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Let boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Mix in peanut butter. Add oats and blend thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let cool completely. Store cookies in air-tight container once they're firm.**
*The recipe calls for 1/4 a cup, that usually makes the cookies too dry. I usually use about 2/3 of the stick, but feel free to experiment.
** Or you could just do what we do in my family and leave them out for anyone to take.

I accidentally wrote milk instead of cocoa. I'm kind of stupid that way.

=O My mumsie makes these for us around Christmas and my brother's birthday (he hates cake/ice cream/cup cakes...so she just makes him no-bake cookies and hard fudge -though she didn't do that this year....-)
They're delicious. <3
Thank you for posting the recipe...mumsie won't let me and my sister see it (we can't be trusted in the kitchen x.O ), so we've been trying to figure it out. xD we're both unwilling to just sit there and help her make them...^^;;
thank you once more~<3

Oh, my mom makes those all the time!
We call them raggedy robins though.
Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to it, that is how my mom taught the recipe to us. <3
