Appearance: An all around pale person, N’kal has fair skin, fair hair, and icy blue eyes. He’s small in comparison to other males, standing at 5 foot 5, but he likes to think he makes up for it in his determination and strength. Though he does have muscles, they are not overly apparent as he has a tendency to hide them in loose clothing, a habit left over from his gardening days.
Personality: While N’kal is generally an easy going type of person, he has a quick temper towards everyone except for his siblings and Aleith. He has no difficulty in making friends, but struggles to maintain those friendships as he tends to disappear almost at random to either visit his family or just spend even more time with Aleith. Despite the trouble that his dragon gets him into, he always speaks highly of him, to the point that he has to be told point blank to shut up.
History: Born in Benden Hold to a gardener and his wife, N'kal, born Neikal, grew up with a tenderness towards plants that he feels more people should have. He had a tendency to be overlooked during Searches due to his small stature, but was more than happy to spend his life tending to the plants he loved. N'kal has an 18 year old brother and an 11 year old sister, both of who still reside at Benden Hold, his brother being an apprentice gardener and his sister helping their mother with whatever she needs done. Being the eldest child, N'kal is very protective over his siblings, and almost refused to be Searched out of a sense of duty to protect them. Despite this, he travelled to Telgar Weyr and Impressed Aleith on the second hatching he was witness to.

Color: Blue
Appearance: Like his rider, Aleith is smaller than most blue dragons, which gives him a slight agility advantage. His hide is a lighter shade of blue, an almost royal shade with a slightly darker underside and wingspan. He has another streak of this color running down his tail and along his nose.
Personality: The one word most commonly used to describe Aleith would have to be overconfident, especially if you’ve asked N’kal. Aleith has a tendency to act without thinking, often landing his rider in much more trouble than he would have preferred. Despite generally being rude and inconsiderate to most people, humans and dragons alike, he only has the utmost devotion towards his own rider, and he can commonly be found curled around N’kal’s sleeping form while in their weyr.
