Personality: Vlase is generally emotionless, prone to intense stares. He has a nasty temper of undetermined origins, since his known family is well mannered and even a bit chatty at times. Vlase is more on the quiet side than his father was, and not nearly as softly spoken. When he speaks, rarely is it a kind word.
Bio: Vlase was fortunate enough to be able to strong arm is way out of the Institute’s grasp two years ago and make for the relative safety of the dying city where he has been hiding since; the rumours of an Altered resistance falling upon cautious ears. While Vlase wants to believe that they have a chance of survival, he knows that the Institute won’t take it lying down and partying up with a bunch of others makes his survival that much more difficult. At best he has cautious optimism for the rebellion.
His past isn’t something Vlase likes to dwell on; he hasn’t seen Ulrich since he escaped, never knew who his mother was. The sort of thing that mass murderers are made of. Fortunately for the rest of humanity, he has kept his head in a relatively safe place and isn’t prone to killing fits unless they hit him first.

Human or Altered: Altered (technically)
Powers/Abilities: Rebirth, Adept (sword), beast form.
Weapon: Long sword, claws and teeth in his beast form.
Personality: Parris means well, but doesn’t always act like it. He’s a talker with big ideas and words to match. Not necessarily the favourite of teammates or anyone like that, but the people in charge know his usefulness.
Bio: Parris is the successful mixture of a powerful Altered and Tyyne. He doesn’t know exactly why the Institute treats him differently than the rest of the Altered they keep, but he doesn’t complain. His rebirth power isn’t as powerful as Tyyne’s was; he doesn’t have the ability to heal himself, nor is he immune to illness. (Much to the Institute’s dismay) He can turn beings of lesser power into plants, though. The rest of his powers were rather unexpected manifestations since his father was neither an Adept or Shape Shifter.
There isn’t a lot he won’t do for his masters, since he believes that they truly are working for the betterment of mankind and the Rebels are a danger to everything. He isn’t mind controlled or chipped, just taught well and given certain liberties that have coloured his views. He hasn’t seen the brutalities that the imprisoned Altered endure as anything more than necessary to find the location of the Rebels. Parris was practically raised by the scientists at the Institute, so he has an odd view, to say the least, about what the Altered are and how they should be dealt with.
