Alex is walking through the forest of La Push. She's crouched low beneath one of the taller pine trees. The wind is whipping the trees back and forth. Alex can smell the rain on the air, as she takes a step forward. Her hair whipping wildly into the tree, small tendrils of the dark brown hair getting caught in the pine needles. It's so dark outside, it's hard to see her eyes flash from beneath the tree.

She was sent to hunt for her first time as a wolf, but she couldn't stay in the form forever. Being so big, she wasn't supposed to get to close to town as a wolf. So, here she sat in human form, watching a bird peck at the ground in front of her. Since the rain was coming it was going to be harder for the bird to take off. As soon as the rain set in Alex dashed forward, leaping at the bird as it took off.

The bird was too fast, it was in the air before Alex even came close. Alex sighs and closes her eyes. She falls to her knees as she tips her face up into the rain. She just lets the cold rain hit her face, the air still in gusts going everywhere. She slowly moves back behind the tree and gets dressed, she wasn't before because she didn't want to go into a wolf form dressed. And, she doesn't like eating animals in human form.

As soon as she gets dressed she hears a loud howling coming from the camp. She could tell the howl from the tempo, it was Leah's, calling to Seth. She smiled, those were the only people who understood where she was coming from. They understood that the vampires were good people, and she wasn't weird for liking them.

She takes a seat underneath the pine tree, one of the driest places around this area while it was raining. It was harder for the rain to seep through each individual pine needle, than it is to seep through the larger leaves. She stretches and lays back against the tree, waiting for the next animal to come along. This was her training, she wasn't allowed to go back to camp until she was able to find and devore her first catch. As a wolf you need to know how to do that.
