Hello, my name's Matt, and I'm a martial arts-holic, and have been for many years.
Unfortunately, due to where I lived and now my current profession (soldier in the United States Army) I had/have little chance of going to a dojo.
However, I have studied Aikido Kokikai formally for two years, and will be fourth kyu by the time I go to iraq this fall.
Though I have formally trained very little, my best friend/brother and) I have trained informally in many martial arts, including
Ninjutsu (with a lot of help from a master I know many states away),
Kojosho Shindokai (taught by a green belt)
American kempo (on the side in the Aikido dojo by a 1st kyu aikido 2nd dan Kempo)
Bah'gua zhang (mostly taught to me by my brother from what he's leanerd through research and mentors on the astral plane)
After my military career/contract I plan on formally persuing many arts (as many as I can), fighting professionally if the opportunity arises, and eventually creating a martial art to be known as Okami-ryu.
I currently am stationed in Ft. Lewis WA.
If you know any good dojo's in the Tacoma/Ft. Lewis area, well, you know what to do. (In case you don't, I mean that you should inform me of such)
I'm very open minded to learning whatever martial arts I find. Be it anything from Tai Chi to Krav Maga (I know I spelled that wrong >.<)
