A small tropical island on the southernmost end of Spira, Besaid is the home of Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Lulu, and Vidina. Besaid is also home to the Blitzball team Besaid Aurochs.

Sumiko sat on the sandy beach watching the water rise and fall from the shore. She looked out towards the ocean and sighed.

"Hey!! Sumiko!!" Sarina shouted. She waved at Sumiko trying to get her attention. She ran up to Sumiko and quickly sat down. "That was a great work out!" she laughed.

Sumiko looked at Sarina and smiled. "How long did that take you to get from there to here?" She laughed. Sumiko pulled up her knees to her chest and layed her head on them. "So whats be going on?" she asked.

Sarina laughed. "I prefer not to answer that" Sarina stared at the ocean. "Evrything has been okay so far... Hey! do you want to go out for a swim!?"

"Okay, lets go... I'll race you!" Sumiko smiled and got up from the sandy ground. She brushed the sand off her clothes and started to run towards the ocean.

Sarina picked herself up and laughed. Instead of running she walked since she was tired of running. "That ain't fair!! I was running a few minutes ago!" she continued to laugh.

Zai sat in the village and stayed in the temple. He had to find a summoner soon or we would be sent off to another temple to find a summoner and he didn't want to keep traveling to find someone that might not even be worth his time. He contiuned to wait and with every second he got madder and madder because he had a high chance of leaving.

"Hurry up Sarina!!!" Sumiko shouted. She ran into the water splashing. She stopped noticing big dark clouds coming up towards the beach. "Sarina, I think we should head back to the village." She turned around and started to walk back to Sarina.

Zai was sitting in the middle of the temple as he was staring at the door with great rage. "Why won't a stupid summoner come ?!" He yelled as he jumped up to his legs. "Why is it I can't just go and find a summoner ?!" He shouted to one of the priests in the temple.

"What should we do now?" Sumiko asked Sarina. "Theres dark clouds coming this way and it looks like there might be some lightning." Sumiko sighed "Oh well"

Zai was starting to get very irritated and started to pace around as the priests of the temple kept trying to calm him down. He sat down in the middle of the temple and contiuned to wait knowing that he didn't have long to wait before he was sent away.

"Lets just go to the temple thina-ma-bob" Sumiko started to laugh "I wasn't making fun of it!" "You know what, I'm gonna just go and not wait to see what you say" Sumiko grabbed Sarina's wrist and ran to the temple.
