surprised
I just noticed that she's not in the list, so I HAD to add her. whee
She's definitely the example I follow to be a good musician. Her voice is unique, as well as her music style. This is why her music has been hard to be categorized. I think my thesis will be on her music.
Unfortunately, not everybody is able to understand her sweatdrop I remember that in this essay written by Hannon, he explained how 'taste' is conditioned to what we've learned. If we're not ready for a certain music scale or mode, then we won't be able to decode the message (just like language: if you never heard or practiced german, you will most likely think that the german person is only making weird noises and you wouldn't even be able to imitate him).
whee Anyway! Give me your opinion about her, and if you haven't listened to her, I recommend you to do it, but keep in mind that her music is not easy to be understood at first. wink

I can never get enough of "Pluto." I found myself the import version of Debut last year. I was looking hard for it, for "Play Dead" haha.

I love Bjork, but most people can't stand her. I learnt how to sing Vokuro, which means now I can sing a song in Icelandic. Currently, I'm buying a back catalogue of all her albums (or anything I can get my hands on.) I don't reckon I have a favourite song, though I had to track her down when I heard Bachelorette.
