Guadosalam is home of the Guado and the location of a gateway to the Farplane. Prior to the Eternal Calm, most summoners only made a short stop here to pay respects to their fallen while on their pilgrimage to the Zanarkand Ruins.

azelas came to guadosalam on his chocobo, demolt, he found the guado glories practicing, then remembered about that day, in luca, he thought he wanted a second chance but, thought again, he then quickly left to the farplane.
