I am trying to make a team for the gyms but I really don't know if it will be any good or not, or whether I am choosing good natures, pokemon, movesets, ect. So can you tell me what I could improve in this team?

Lucario
EVs 252 Special Attack/252 Speed/6 Defense
Nature: Modest (+Special attack -Attack)
- Aura Sphere
- Focus Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Dragon Pulse
Lucario has some good special attack moves so I decided to use special attack instead of his regular attack moves. So yeah, it's a Special Sweeper Lucario

Shuckle
EVs 252 Defense/252 Special Defense/6 Speed
Nature: Impish
- Toxic
- Power Trick
- Earthquake
- Bide
Shuckle is great for defense so Power trick will come into play on special attackers then I will use Earthquake, Bide is for anything else, if they can do enough damage to him the move will be deadly later. Toxic is simply to poison them while my Shuckle can hold strong.

Exeggutor
EVs 252 Special Attack/100 Special Defense/158 Speed
Nature: Modest
- Leaf Storm
- Solarbeam
- Sunny day
- Psychic
Exeggutor has the ability Chlorophyll which makes his speed double when it's sunny. I gave him Sunny Day to double his speed, then what to go better with Sunny day than Solarbeam? Leaf storm is a good last resort move if Exeggutor is running low on health. I gave him some special defense so he won't die too quickly so he can get out Sunny Day and Solarbeam.

Blissey
EVs 252 Hp/132 Defense/126 Attack
Nature: Impish
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Earthquake
- Thunder
Mostly a tank but I can use rest to heal Blissey and then use sleep talk to use either Earthquake or Giga Impact. Also, due to Serene Grace, Thunder has a 60% chance of paralyzing.

Garchomp
EVs 252 Attack/252 Speed/6 Defense
Nature: Jolly
- Dragon Rush
- Giga Impact
- Fire Fang
- Earthquake
My regular sweeper will be Garchomp. Dragon rush has a good attack power and can cause flinching, which is always good. Fire Fang is for the possibility to burn plus it adds a greater variation of move types. Earthquake for the STAB and Giga Impact is a last resort if Garchomp is low on health.

Walrein
EVs 252 Special Attack/252 Hp/6 Speed
Nature: Modest
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Blizzard
- Ice beam
Yep, another Sleep Talker but he will mostly be used to freeze the opponent's pokemon.

Blaziken
EVs 252 Attack/252 Speed/6 Defense
Nature: Adamant
- Flare Blitz
- Sky Uppercut
- Brave Bird
- Blaze Kick
My other sweeper. I put in some really strong moves that involve recoil, whcih sucks but strong moves are always welcome. Blaze Kick has a high critical hit ration and can burn, which are both goo things to have.

So, do you think it has a chance at the gyms?

It's pretty good I must say! But don't you think that PHYSICAL attacks on a Blissey will make it mediocre? Why not Ice Beam to cover a lot of types?

And on that Blaziken, I'd replace either Blaze kick or flare blitz, as it doesn't have as much of variety as it could have :3

But thats IMO sweatdrop

lucario going off of one stat means its being pitted against one defense.....so you could possibly even get screwed by a Blissey for that matter...or a shuckle, for that matter and is someone uses captivate or memento...you're screwed...or amnesia over and over again...or cosmic power...or stockpile.

by only increasing shuckle's defense stat, you've just messed yourself up in the end...also,remember-power trick switches the stats...shuckle's defense is off the chain,so its attack will get a giga boost, but can you say the same for its defense?HELL NO!!!!with your shuckle its defense will become a minimum of 25(you better hope not) and a max of 56(still not good enough);a quick attack could kill it.what you ought to do is neglect defense since it'll be high even if its a negative nature, zero IVs and no EVs and focus more on attack, making it still useful in the defense department...also bide is useless without some defense....

if i were to use a skuntank on your exeggutor, who do YOU think would win?replace leaf storm with something that won't work against it....like leech seed or energy ball and maybe replace psychic with stomp, sludge bomb(by breeding) or zen headbutt

FYI Blissey and attack power don't mix....I agree with craptacular about Ice Beam....undo Blissey's attack EVs and replace them with SA EVs,but also remember Thunder's crappy accuracy...try Thunderbolt...may have a worse chance to paralyze, but you can depend on it every turn....

if you're gonna use Sleep talkers with bad accuracy moves give one of them a wide lens,at least..other than that, since ice beam has a low chance of freeze, replace with water pulse to add variety(confusion goes great with freeze smile )

i find garchomp to be awesome(great ways to get rid of its weaknesses),but its uber,so it might not be allowed.
for the recoil moves give it a shell bell;that way you recover some health from it...i did the same with my rapidash and flare blitz and it cut the recoil damage in half (i had never been so happy blaugh )

this is IMO...try to have an alternate for garchomp

Ever heard of a sweeper? They go off of Attack/Spicial attack and Speed mostly.

That is true about Shuckle DX I priority move should fix it.

Most of those moves you suggested are regular attacks if he is a special sweeper, he should have special attacks

Agree with the Blissey

Probably a good idea on Walrein XD

Thanks for the tip on the Shell Bell!

Special Luke has the surprise factor going for it, and with Choice Specs it can make an alright revenge killer. However, yours doesn't need Focus blast AND aura sphere. I'd go for Aura and replace focus w/ shadow ball or something, but it's your choice.

Shuckle can't survive in today's metagame.... period. But, if you insist on using it, I'd give it wish support. Power trick is just plain bad, as it allows it to be one shot, and it doesn't carry the capability to sweep with it without trick room. Give it rest instead. If you do convert to a trick room team, give it stone edge instead of toxic, and keep power trick.

Exeggutor seems out of place on this team and it's sunny day ruins your Blissey's thunder's accuracy, and diminishes walrein's capabilities. I advise you to either make a SD team, or replace him. (Choice Specs Sceptile is a nice UU nightmare that hits friggin hard). Oh, and Exeg doesn't need Leaf Storm, as it already has a powerful non-situational (so long as you keep SD up) grass STAB. That Sp.D also seems a bit on the wasted side...

Earthquake is TERRIBLE on Blissey, as it barely does anything for it at ALL. Blissey has god AWFUL attack. Seismic Toss (emerald move tutor), calm mind, or ice beam would be better.

Garchomp is uber...... the gyms don't allow ubers.

Walrein needs Surf. Get rid of Ice Beam or Blizzard. Freeze hax isn't reliable, so don't base an entire Pokemon around depending on it.

Get rid of Blaze Kick for Stone Edge, Thunder Punch, or Earthquake. (you probably would need TP the most on this team, if you keep Shuckle around).

You have a terrible weakness to fighting types and fighting type moves. Fix that. A ghost pokemon would be an excellent answer, and Dusknoir could fit very well on your team if it replaces Shuckle.

Scizor could rip your team a new one :/..... sorry. Heatran, Gyarados, or a Bulky Zapdos are great answers to it.

All of the leaders can find a way to put a hurt on anybody in certain situations, but AriaG and Fox would put a severe hurt on it, simply because of the types they use.

I intend only to help by stating that you may wish to build a more reliable team :/ with members that don't require such weird, and different set-ups.
