Powers/Abilities: Enhanced reflexes and flexibility (acrobatic, agile, etc..). Nightvision, in addition to being able to see farther than the average human. Excellent stamina (able to be active for longer periods than a human without tiring). Mildly enhanced strength (slightly stronger than the average well-fit woman). Increased brain capacity (the ability to be more intelligent with average, althought not without work).
Weapon: Throwing knives
Personality: Ras is a wary character, and mature for her age. Her general disposition comes off as overly-cautious, but moderately friendly (which, she is to the few she might trust and love). Strangers should not be fooled, for Ras is actutely paranoid, and would sooner knife a potential threat, than let them hurt her. Her sense of humor is as dark as her convictions and opinions are strong.
Bio: Ras and her twin, (Indigo Kier Catherwood) were both children belonging to members of the Institue (Jane and Ingram Catherwood). What with the uprising of The Altered against the Institute, Ingram wanted try an experiment. The experiment being, to see if two altered were raised in as normal an enviroment as possible, would society see them as A) More acceptable, and B) Would the pair's loyalty lie only with the institution (they would not join the rebel side)? He then gave up his own two children to be the guinea pigs for his experiement. Jane loved her two children dearly, and fought for the pair to undergo as little experimentation as possible. Her pleas were not answered, and neither had as normal of a childhood as would have been intended by the experiment. Ras grew to loathe her father and the Institute as she and Indigo were put under countless experiments to be the perfect superhuman espianoge team. Both had more freedom than other altered, and in a stroke of luck Ras managed to be picked up by a forager. She tried despretly to get Indigo to escape with her, but her twin could not be convinced, too loyal to thier father and his cause. Ever since she has been working with the rebel side to pick up other Altered, with the goal to eventually bring down the Insititute.

Description or Picture: Ras stands at 5'6, with a petite, angular bone structure. Short jaggedly cut light tawny hair frames her face, which also holds two striking green eyes. She typically wears tight black clothing when out at night, armed with various throwing knives. However, when out in public she trys to wear inconspicuous clothing, that will easily hide her knives. Ras's most distinguishing feature, is the dash of a scar just above her top lip.

Human or Altered: Altered
Powers/Abilities: Same as his sister, Ras. However, his vision is only exceptionally good in one eye, and he only has nightvision in his better eye. He also has accomplished more in terms of intelligence, due to having stayed with the Institute and making use of this brain capacity.
Weapon: Hand guns.
Personality: In comparison to Ras, Indigo is much more jovial of a character. He does not have the paranoia of his sister, although he still reamains wary. He enjoys joking and socializing with others, and has been known to be quite the prankster. On the flipside, when the time comes Indigo knows when to buckle down, and take things seriously. Surprsingly, Indigo is also a hopeless pushover, romantic. Like his father, he believes that the Institute is working for a better tomorrow.
Bio: His backstory is obviously the same as his sister's. Although, Indigo did not develop the hatred for his father that Ras did. After Ras ran away, the twin's relationship became very love-hate. At this point Indigo has given up trying to love his sister, and instead tries his very best to hate her. It's easier than dealing with conflicting feelings.
Alignment: Institute
Description or Picture: Indigo stands at around 5'7 1/2, with a similair bone structure to Ras. However, he looks a little beefier, due to being male, and amount of time he spends working out. All the same, he is smaller than the average male. Indigo has light brown hair, and keeps it longer than his father appreciates, and often ties it back into a short ponytail. The better of his two eyes is the same vivid green as Ras's, the other is the twin's original natural stormy gray, before they were altered by night vision. Due to an error in the experiment, it was rendered half-blind. (He wears glasses to help correct this-- in the meantime, they are trying to develop a way to fix it). Indigo typically wears a uniform issued by the institution, unless he out trying to find Ras. In which case he wears his 'street clothes'.
