I read a webcomic that said that all elves had magic. Though each have a different level. This magic or energy can be channeled to do many things. Like control elements or change the form of the wielder. Other elves can use this power to summon things/demons from others realms. Other can pool this power in the mind...yes... the powers of the mind...All of them. Another is common things like a voice, singing songs to create spells that aren't visible. I would rather go with that, then just ~*dark magic*~. I mean what is dark magic?

Um, as with all mythological/ fantasy beings, I'd say powers would vary with different books. Case in point- vampires. Their powers run the gammut in literature from turning into bats or mist to sparkling like a disco ball. As for dark elves in the gaia world, it seems they have longevity- in one of the mangas didn't Don Kuro or his sister make a comment about being over 200 years old?- also superior strength, speed, etc than humans; they're on par w/ vamps there. I'd also think they'd have better eyesight than humans in the dark, but the sunlight might be a bit painful to their eyes. Not like it would make them blind, but it'd irritate them since theyr'e geared for night vision.
