Which Resident Evil game stands out as your favorite of them thus far? Which one made you say "Wow, I love this series!" I'm my opinion, they all are great, minus the FPS ones, but only one can stand out. State your favorite here, and tell why.

I have to agree with kali, the first is a classic and my favorite. Ah i can remember it like it was yesterday...

Mid way through the sixth grade a few boys began bringing their ps and a small tv to class. One day they were playing the first res-e but of course at that time I was not yet familiar with the prodogy game. "Oh my," i thought to myself, "a game with zombies in a large mansion....tell me more!" My love for the game began to kindle and whilst my love was pure i knew that those silly boys in my class only liked to watch Jill run...they would never know such a love! Never! Alas as the years progressed and i began sinking into my studies, my memories of that game began to discipate yet it remained in the back of my head and i occasionally found myself craddled to sleep while thinking of "that game".
One day while hanging out at Peley and Kali's place i spotted it. "Whats this?" I cried aloud. "You like this game too?! I have questions for you so!" and Kali replied "Pch yea i love res-e!" Thus our friendship began and my love for res-e was no longer but kindling on a fire but a full out pyromaniac paradise.

The people and events in this story are not fictionous and may or may not have been altered. This has been a dramatization of true events.

I agree with Tragic and Kali. The Original/Remake brought me into the whole Survival Horror genre, as well as gave me dozens of fond memories and a desire to live in a secluded mansion in Raccoon Forest. Moreso though, all the original baddies just made the series.

But I would like to point out RE3 and REGS are up in my list of games because they are some of the few games that included multiple enemies. RE3 for using different enemies in the same location, like Zombies and then a Hunter Beta ripping through them. REGS works for me because it tried to include ALL BOWs for me, a feat that Capcom has yet to do, but it worked well in my book as is.

Kali and I should make the next RE

For me it's tied between Remake and Nemesis. I voted for Nemesis just cause I had a feeling nobody else would.

First one, the B movie opening and ending, the crappy dialogue; everytime I hear "Jill sandwhich" it just brings a tear to my eye.

Though i already mentioned my favorite game, RE0, RE1, RE2, RE3 and both Outbreaks will maintain a strong hold in my view because they just begin to open more doors and close others as to the events taking place in Raccoon City. To me these games seem the most involved and dedicated to the story

I love RE2 and Nemesis to death, and the reason why is this:

Replay value.

The Resi games wouldn't be what they are if it wasn't for the fact that you want, no NEED, to go back and replay them to get a better time, a better ranking and all those little goodies.

RE2 and 3 both have the best replay value, 2 because of the very clever two disc system, and 3 because of the branching storyline. For me, Nemesis just pips 2 to the post because of all the costumes - especially the pimpin' disco suit.

Yeah, I'm an alternative outfit whore.

The Outbreaks??? sweatdrop That's kinda random. The first one had very little to do with the story in my recollection and the second has not yet been released...
