From what i have read (and experienced through experimentation), chocolate boosts your magic power and salt cuts you off from it. ive tried it out and i believe it is true. but a while back i began wondering, "What would happen if i were to take both at once?" so i went out and bought a bar of chocolate and a 99 cent bag of potato chips. apparently, it was addicting combination. the only withdrawel i had was searching the entire house for money in order to buy a stack of chocolate and a family sized bag of chips. after that was done, i suffered for a day and the addiction was gone.
i visited a friend a few weeks later. his favorite snack is cape-cod kettle-cooked sea-salt potato chips. which he shared with me. then he offered me a cookie. what i didnt notice was that it was a chocolate chip cookie.
i spent the rest of the day glancing out the door of his room, distracted by the flavour. i occasionally went downstairs to "use the bathroom" when i actually snuck another cookie and chip.
today, my dad brought back some chips. he is diabetic and needs some hershey milk chocolate kisses for low glucose levels. i controlled myself (with great difficulty) not to taste one of them. i have already emptied his bag of chocolates twice before, blaming it on my sister.
so what i am trying to say, if anyone is curious enough, is to try a spell, eat a chocolate (milk, unless you prefer white or dark. experiment!), repeat the spell, taste a little sea salt, try again, and, if you are brave enough, taste both at once. if you react like i did, it will take some strength of will to resist buying more. answer back with your experiances.

I think its more that salt grounds you out and chocolate elevates your mindset and mood.
