Latest Developments
August 20th, 2009: I've forgotten to update this thing recently... I've been busy, I suppose you could say. That day at the beach, I'd also pulled a Poochyena from the water that got swept out with the tide. I didn't think at the time that it mattered much, but as it turned out the little guy ended up being my second Pokemon. Well, minus the Egg, of course. I named him Arashio, which I think is pretty appropriate considering where I 'caught' him. He's pure white, too. I don't believe he's what they call Shiny, or even albino because his eyes are blue. He's got a bit of an attitude when it comes to food, but it's easy to get him to knock it off. Definitely easier to train than Daikirai, though I did wish he wasn't so timid half the time. Aside from the new addition, I've gotten a little more familiar with this island and the people inhabiting it. The Egg is doing well, it's been glowing recently, and I've been told that means it's going to hatch soon. I'm a little anxious, wondering what it could be. Joy said if we cared for the Eggs well enough, we could keep the Pokemon that hatched from it... I'd feel pretty heartless to abandon a hatchling at the Pokemon Center, so I'm hoping it'll be something fitting for my small team.
August 8th, 2009: Well, I met a couple of Trainers, they seemed nice enough. They very well would have let me drown, but I guess I can forgive them for it. At least they tried to find me after a giant wave crashed onto land. I probably would have felt bad if they would have come to harm trying to help me... It's not like I needed their help, anyway. Even Daikirai seemed concerned when I was missing for a few minutes, I'd have never expected that. All of that aside, I'm left to hope that a little bit of salt water wouldn't have done any damage to the Egg. I dried it off pretty quick, and the blanket kept it from getting soaked... Here's hoping. I'd feel pretty irritated if the thing got waterlogged, and never hatched.
August 5th, 2009: Since picking up the Egg, I've kept it wrapped in the provided blanket when outdoors. Usually, it stays tucked safely inside of a drawstring bag, alone as not to come into contact with anything that could damage the shell or Pokemon inside in any way. Last night I nested it in the blanket next to the window while it stormed outside. Sometimes the sound of the rain is relaxing, I guess I'm hoping it'll have the same effect on the Pokemon inside.
August 4th, 2009: So I heard about the strange Pokemon Eggs that were left at the doorstep of the Pokemon Center, and I got up the nerve to call and claim one. When I wen to pick it up, there were so many Trainers there I couldn't hear myself think over all of their noise. Thankfully, I was called back first, and got myself out with the Egg without any problems.
July 30th, 2009: So I finally put together a journal to carry with me when I travel. I might as well keep all of this s**t together, might be important sooner or later. If some unfortunate soul stumbles upon my bloodied corpse and discovers this stupid thing, they'll know that it was my Pokemon to blame.

~You're welcome to PM me, or catch me in the main thread. I'm not always speedy with replies, but I can assure you that I will try my best. Guild RPs only, they're much easier to keep track of. I can just link them in the profiles that way, instead of pasting them all in here.
None of my Pokemon are actively looking for life-mates.
~This doesn't mean that you can't ask, if you think your Pokemon would suit the part. In the end it'll really depend on if they're compatible with one another, determined through at least one full and completed RP between the two.

~This needs no clarification, really. I personally have no problems with people who are, or have characters who are, otherwise. Just... Don't try to drag me into it, if you please. ~I really hope everyone knows better than to do so, but just in case. If one of my Pokemon (or Yuki) does something that somehow personally offends or upsets you, I apologize. They are who they are, and I am separate. For example, if one of my characters hates one of your characters, it does not mean that I hate you. So please, don't think so!

Personality: Yuki is a very troubled and confused individual, though more often than not his worries are hidden behind false laughter and fake smiles. To those he meets face to face, Yuki is friendly and seemingly very outgoing. Though, despite this, a dark aura radiates from him. Very few can sense it, but those who can would surely find reason for concern. There's certainly something... Off about him at times. He claims to be new to this region, and until now nobody has ever seen him before. However, he doesn't seem willing to disclose his hometown. The Capture: Yuki found Daikirai on the night of a full moon, and due to the blue hue of the world around them it wasn't until the following morning when Yuki let the Eevee out of his PokeBall that he realized that the Pokemon's fur coloration didn't look like all of the pictures he had seen.
Personality: One mean little b*****d. Dai hates pretty much anything that crosses or gets into his path, living or otherwise. He puts his claws and teeth to good use - without care - as often as he can get away with it. Those who mistakenly call him cute and try to coddle him swiftly regret it. Even his trainer isn't quite sure just how or why he ended up as such an angry ball of fur, but one thing is certain; it'll only get worse when he evolves.

The Capture: Not a capture, literally, more of a learning experience. When the local Pokemon Center had several Pokemon Eggs dropped off at their doorstep in the night, a cry went out for willing Trainers to help care for the excess. Yuki ended up as one of those willing, in quiet hopes of getting something that would be less aggressive and easier to train than Daikirai.
