User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The sun was just starting to shine over the Eastern horizon and had not yet raised high enough in the sky to shine over the cliffs and rocks surrounding the beach, but in the distance, where the shadows could not reach, sunlight glittered off the ocean in a calming display of sparkling light. The sight was an almost daily occurrence and was why Soundwave, after taking residence in the shallow limestone cavern on the rockier portion of the beach, had decided he loved mornings. Not for the first time, he sat quietly in the shadows and watched the ocean waves roll over the beach, curled up on the semi-flat rocks he had arranged outside his cavern. The rocks had been rather challenging to move from the mountains to the beach and partially bury in the sand, but it was worth it - they kept him out of the annoying sand when he watched the surf, and they warmed very nicely during midday when the sun shined on them, making the perfect spot for sunbathing.

Curled up against Soundwave's belly was one of his pygmies. Frenzy was still recharging quietly. He felt it was far too early to get up and just watch the water, so when Soundwave settled for his morning routine, Frenzy simply went right back to sleep.

Eject wasn’t really required to do much in there new station. Blaster seemed to be a little displeased with him lately. Eject’s duty was assigned to being one of the radio monitors. Incase another Eobot or Deceptihan needed to call for any reason. It was not a hard past, but it was incredibly dull, and Eject would much rather play football, and tune into sport channels to listen to games that were being broadcasted on the radio.
What made Blaster disappointed was that Eject would do this during his duty.
This of course led to Blaster’s “talks” tiring to motivate Eject, but Eject didn’t want to hear it.
Blaster was never mean to him, but it was clear that he was disappointed in his Pygmy.
All Eject wanted to do was play sports, have someone to play with, that little pink Femme offered sometimes, but she wasn’t very good at it. He really wanted to play with Blaster, but the large mech never really noticed him much. Always loud, playing music so he could not hear anyone else, talking with his bigger friends…

Eject liked to go to the fields, wander around, chase his ball, it was the wide open spaces that were just perfect for playing, running, pretending that he was an all-star on a football team, he could almost hear the crowd cheering for him… that and having a recording of cheering crowds on his tape helped with the realism.
He was alone again. Nothing would change that, instead he gave more of an effort to wander farther then he usually did.

“Ejeeeect!” Blaster called out, trudging through the field that he was usually found the blue Pygmy playing. His Com was off; Blaster suspected he was busy listening to more sport broadcasts.
Frowning softly he continued on, not sure where Eject could have gone to. But he didn’t find him in the field; the farther Blaster trudged though, the sooner the large Red deck found himself nearing the beach… Eject wouldn’t be here would he?
The sound of the waves might drown out his calls, but he called away. Scanning the aria.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Soundwave was still watching the surf as the sun reached higher in the sky, too preoccupied listening to the waves crash upon the shore to hear the voice carried on the wind. Frenzy, however, was disturbed from his sleep when he heard it - the voice stood out from the usual noises of the beach, and its newness made him lift his head and flicker his visor online. Of course, only half of the visual appeared. He had lost his sight on the left a long time ago, between their fleeing of Eotron and their arrival to Earth. The lack of proper parts and tools to repair his injury lead to the leads and wiring in his head corroding. His entire visor still glowed Deceptighan crimson to give the appearance that everything was normal; however, the loss of his sight in that quadrant of his display was permanent.

His hearing, however, was just as good as it had always been.

"Did 'ya hear that?" he finally asked to get Soundwave's attention. The larger mech tore his gaze from the ocean to listen carefully, grunting softly when he heard what had awakened Frenzy.

They had an intruder.

Blaster's frown only deepend when his slowly scanning head stopped, catching a glimpse of blue. "there you are" he sighed in exasperation, pushing himself forward, not really thinking much of the delicate earth below him, as he rushed to try and get to Eject.
What he found however, was that it was not Eject, quit the contrary. It was another blue mech that Blaster was familiar with, jerking to a stop, head held high in surprise.
Soundwave, a Decpetihan, or at least… a retired one, he had heard what his Rival… or former… he thought, maybe still rival.
He had heard the details in the report of what happened when the ark was discovered, Soundwave had gone against Megatron. But still, he did not expect to be face to… mask with him again.
Frowning a bit, shifting back a little, was this Soundwave’s territory?

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Blaster was not the only one who was startled. Soundwave surged to his feet and turned to face Blaster, shoulders hunched to make the already large mech seem larger. He moved Frenzy underneath himself between his paws, protecting him just in case. He knew they were technically on the same side now, all part of the same clan as far as Optimus was concerned, but old rivalries and suspicions died hard, and Soundwave knew he, his cassettes, and Starscream were still not exactly...welcome among the Eobots despite their actions against Megatron. It was why they still stayed in their old territory, though they were ready to be called upon should the Prime need their services.

"Woh. cool it hipster, I ain't here to cause trouble" he spoke stiffly, finding those words VERY odd when spoken to -Soundwave- of all Decepticon.
he could not help a small frown though, knowing very well what this mech was capable of, and him looking so defensive was really unnerving, not that Blaster was incapable of holding his own against him, but that brought up another worry... what if Eject was here first and didn't fare so well, Blaster could see the little red and black Pygmy, his own Pygmy had been trained to be there rivals.

Frowning softly as he lowered his talon back down. "What is a 'Han like you doin' round here?"

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."We live here, bolt!" Frenzy snapped before he could stop himself, though he remained safely underneath Soundwave. "The real question is what're you doin' here?!"

"Blaster: trespassing," Soundwave said calmly - well, it sounded calm, but with his monotone vocal filter, everything he said sounded the same.
PostPosted: Fri Sep 25, 2009 10:59 am

Blaster frowned at being accused of trespassing
"Well I ain't here to cause trouble, even though ya don't got the right to claim any a this land, so I -ain't- trespassin'" he replied, feeling more indignant, causing the response.
having Eject missing was bad enough, he eyed his rival and the little snotty red Pygmy under him.
"ya see an Eobot wander down round here?" he asked after hesitating. not wanting to say his Pygmy was missing, they were small enough to be picked off easy by a larger mech. and THAT only proved to make him more uneasy.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Frenzy's tail lashed at Blaster's first remark, infuriated. "We have as much right ta call this our territory as anythin' else on this planet!" he hissed angrily. "We've been livin' here fer two years!" He opened his beak to say something else but was silenced by a large paw gently nudging him further underneath the blue mech above him.

"No Eobots in area - until now," Soundwave answered Blaster.

beak turned down in a frown when he heard that answer. not sure if he really believed Soundwave or not, but he wasn't giving him much reason to think that he was lying.
Glancing around the aria once again, hoping to catch a glimpse of him, he only frowned further troubled.
"'right" he replied, glancing at Soundwave from the side, "sorry for buggin'" he grumbled, not really sure why he should apologize, turning to continue to search for Eject

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Soundwave watched the other mech as he turned away, making sure he was really leaving before he allowed his guard to drop. Frenzy too let himself relax and took a few steps out from under Soundwave so he could speak, "Nobody comes here - the sand's too annoyin'." If it weren't for the rocks Soundwave brought from the mountains to make his makeshift patio outside the cavern, they probably would not like it here nearly as much.

Being one of the larger mechs on the planet, the thudding noise he made when he was significantly louder, though dulled on the soft ground, and the impressions he leaved behind, usually tearing up the ground where he stepped where quite noticeable.
As even as Blaster took his leave, there was clear evidence that he had been there.
Lifting his head once he was further into the field, one side of his beak lifting slightly, starting to grow frustrated. This wasn’t shaking out to be a very good day, first he loses Eject, and then he bumps into… well, someone he could still consider his rival, but wasn’t able to confront him like he used to.
Functions whirred softly as he moved his legs, moving again, faster this time as he broke into a trot.
The chances of Soundwave and his little pygmy hunting down Eject knowing he was alone and quite vulnerable were slim in this situation, but old habits die hard. And he didn’t trust Soundwave, or at least he wasn’t willing to take the chance.

Eject crouched low in the grass, peeking his head up every now and then to peer over at his Football laying a short distance away from him. Ducking back down, he flicked his tail sharply a few times, he lurched forward with a howl of “HIKE”
squeaking and chirping as he tackles the football, rolling around with it, kicking and tossing it around in his little game.
He wrestled with it in the Grass for a moment, until he suddenly kicked it up, causing it to fly up into the air, and bounce awkwardly away when it hit the ground, leaving Eject laying where he was, sprawled on his back, watching the crowds moving along the blue sky. And for a moment, he just let everything be oddly silent… no music, no bustling, and no cheering. Just the sound of the wind rustling through the grass.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Once Blaster was gone, Soundwave allowed himself to relax and settle onto the rocks again, but Frenzy was still too wound up to just sit and enjoy the sound of the ocean just yet. "I'm gonna go chomp some butterflies," he informed his matre before he hopped down from the rocks and started up the cliff face to the grasslands. Chasing and eating butterflies was his favorite pastime and one of the best ways to relax when his nerves were shot, and now that it was spring, it was the perfect time to find a lot of butterflies in the grasses.

As he lay there, front legs curling in over his chest, optics bright , observing the clouds in silence, he couldn't help but feel a little sad the longer he lay there. he felt a little lonely, not having anyone to play with, watch sports with him. there were not many Pygmy around.

his thoughts were interrupted as something small and light fluttered down over his face, and landed on his bright chest.
optics flickering he lifted his head to see a brightly colored butterfly perched on him.

Frenzy quickly made his way up the cliffs of the coast and into the grasslands, pausing only long enough to let the sunlight warm his frame and work out the last remnants of groggy stiffness from his joints. Once he was in the grasses, he slowed down and looked to the sky. It was just as well that he decided to go butterfly hunting - this was a fantastic day for it. There were many clouds in the sky, but they were the pretty, large, fluffy kind, bright white with no danger of rain ruining it.

The black and red pygmy didn't spend too much time watching the clouds - after just a klik in the grasses, he spotted a flash of color floating away from him. Frenzy grinned and muttered, "Come ta patre~" He bounded after it as quietly as he could, dodging through the tall grass and not once taking his gaze off of the little insect. When it flitted down to disappear among the greenery, Frenzy tensed his hindquarters into a crouch and braced himself for a brief moment before he sprung over the grass and down onto his prey.
