Being a Vampyre, i work a bit with blood. not of other peoples, my own. if you are to try this, you must act with a mind toward safety. it is quite dangerous, physically and spiritually.
i, however, have invented a rather safe spell regarding blood. you will need:
A Lancet from a Diabetic Glucose tester
A ball of twine
a pair of scissors
and a bar of chocolate (optional)
what you do is cut the twine into pieces 3 inches long. the measurement is not neccessary. just estimate. tie knots into the end to avoid having it unravle. take a STERILE needle from the gluose kit, and never ever ever ever share it with anyone. use it on your pinky, it should not hurt more than an electric shock from rubbing your socks on carpet and touching a doorknob, and the pain lasts about as long. drip the blood onto the middle of the string, saying as you do so this incantation.
"As my blood seeps on to thee, I store my strength, so mote it be"
repeat the incantation throughout the rest of the spell. i made it short and rhyming to make it easyer. tie a knot in the middle of the string, where the blood is, and focus your energy into it (using your blood as a conduit). this is also a form of cord magick as well as blood magick. lock the energy within the string.
the same way you eat an orange or a cookie after donating a pint of blood to the hospital, you may want to eat chocolate. though your blood loss was minimal (one drop), your energy loss is comparable to that of the analogy i just used.
to retrieve the energy at a later date, untie the knot and put it in your receptive hand, inhaling as you do. absorb it back. do this when you are very low, perhaps after some heavy energy work in a ritual.
the energy will keep for about 3 weeks, and after that, will begin to degrade. after the fourth week, it will be more "root chakra" animalistsic energy un-useful for assimalation. after the fifth, there will be little energy left, if at all.
do not make too many strings at once. to many can lead to but is not limited to:
fatigue, intense hunger, temporary weakening of spells, and in extream cases, sympathetic vampyrism
that last one is where you start developing the Hunger for psi energy (what i live with every day), even though you are a normal human.

I believe that this is totally unnecessary. Spirituality it not meant to be dangerous physically or spiritually.
Energy can be stored in crystals among other things. In fact energy doesn't even need to be stored - it can be drawn from the earth's core.
There are enough stigmas out there about pagans, the last thing we need to do is start working with blood.

It's rude to flame simply because it doesn't follow your viewpoints. There is no right or wrong way to do magick, it's all about your comfort level.
In the specific case of blood magick, people have been doing it all the back to norse mythology when it was common practice for a diviner to "blood their runes" to help them predict the future.
I also wouldn't recommend paying much head to the viewpoint of pagans from the worlds perspective, it doesn't really matter what they think. Thank you and gods bless.
