Is there a way for captains to send a message to all their guild members simultaniously? I host events for my guild once in a while, but I can only do it once in a while, because when you have 200+ members, commenting or pming to let them know they're invited to the events becomes a time-consuming monstrosity. There HAS to be an easier way to broadcast.

Here's also another problem. You can't multi-message members unless their are on your friends list and like it's listed there is a limit to as how many members you can add to one single message.

Well... If you're having a limited event where you have to be invited than there is no way around it currently. I just post the event as an announcement in the guild and then the active members get to participate. If they tell others in the guild who don't come by as often than that works too. You can even have some type of limiting factor such as... you must have X number of posts in the guild before you can enter or something like that. My guild has nearly constant events. I started our new one as our old one was wrapping up. We're even connecting two events for next year. One event is a light-hearted holiday event, which leads into out mystery RPG event where you have to find out who kidnapped the person who was running the previous event!
I got off track didn't I?...
Well, I wouldn't worry about telling EVERYONE in the guild when an event is going to start. You could always plan them ahead into a 'guild calender' where people can see when the next event is going to happen and just come back when it happens. ^_^

Well, apparently there's a guild broadcast feature available in gIM, but honestly, who uses gIM? It's impractical. There should be a broadcast feature underneath the moderator panel.

Mass PMs or announce notification you mean? When you say "broadcast" I think of the Broadcast 'feature.'

Use the mass pm feature called Send a announcement or something like that. It is the last link in the mod panel under captain controls.

I'm so glad there's the announcement system. so far i've only had two, one being from my clan an the other being from a guild. i dont think we'll be seeing alot of spam unless your a member of all the guilds under the sun.
