If you have not read the Cleric Quintet: Spoilers. If you have not read the Orc King: Minor Spoilers.
The Cleric Quintet. After the quintet was over, we haven't heard of Cadderly and co. since, except for a few cameos in the Drizzt books.
Now, in the newest Drizzt books, the spellplague had happened (Sort of. Even though the series is in the past, it was still mentioned, and going to happen, by the looks of the excerpt from the Ghost King). That means the story is into 4th edition. And when I searched for the Spirit Soaring in the 4th ed Forgotten realms book, I was in for quite a shock. Apparently it had fallen and is now inhabited by nasty monsters. It's all crumpled and haunted and stuff.
Which begs the question: What happened? Is Cadderly alive? What about Danica and the two dwarves?
I'm very curious to find out what happened. Thoughts?

I havent been up to date on the newer things in Forgotten Realms stuff x-x
But if its something bad, then... Well, I dunno.... I doubt anything real bad could happen to Caddy, I mean he is as powerful as Elminster

The Spellplague is part of the plot for 4th ed Forgotten realms in D&D. Long story short, magic is going nuts and making everything bad.
I am really, really curious about what happens to Cadderly. I think Salvatore needs to let Drizzt&Co rest for a bit, and pick up on Cadderly's story. I'm dying to find out what's going on at his end. And know exactly what happened to the Spirit Soaring.
