I like both anime and manga because of the somewhat different story line.

i prefer manga cause its faster and use less time to really understand the story>>> 3nodding

it depends on the series. for example sailor moon's anime is far less sophisticated in english or in japanese compared to the manga. but naruto's anime goes further in depth on character personailties then the manga. the anime and the manga for fruits basket might as well have been written by to totally different mangaka. usually i prefer the manga

I also prefer manga because you can get the books and show off your cool manga collection and I love it that it's black and white. It's much more delicate form when compared to anime. I love well inked mangas.
