Renegade Gunner: Introduction
Deep within each city is an organization. The members all are experts in firearms and other ranged combat. This organization is known as Ghouls Uphold Nothing, or GUN for short. The members of this organization are known as Gunners. GUN is an organization founded on destruction. Their goal is unknown. When one comes close to finding out about this organization, they either disappear or die.
I am a part of that organization, or at least I was. My story is common by most standards. I ran away when I saw the evil of GUN. Now my old group hunts me down. People I thought were my friends, now only want to make me disappear. Their reason? Not only does my existence prove GUN exists, I also stole their latest creation, a combat drone, known as Nano-C. If I can survive and show this drone to the leaders of the world, maybe GUN's ultimate goal, whatever it may be, will be stopped. Then, maybe, I can atone for the wrongs I committed while in GUN. I am the Renegade Gunner, and this is just the beginning of my story.
Renegade Gunner Stage 1: The Mission
The wind was whipping at my face as I drove, so strong it pushed my shades up against my eyes as I sped down the highway. It was the dead of night and no one was on the road but me, and the experimental drone, Nano-C. All I could feel was the wind, the heat Nano-C gave off as it hovered next to me, and the vibrations of my bike. My headlights were off to insure I wasn't seen by anyone, be they normal civilian or someone else. GUN was on my trail, and I knew it. And no one escapes GUN.
So far my escape has been going smoothly, but I knew that could change in a moment. I looked down at the gauges on my bike. The needle on the speedometer was well over one hundred miles per hour. The needle on the gas gauge however, was nearing empty. Lucky for me, I was just entering the capital. Revving the engine I speed down the street. Lifeless looking houses lined the street on each side of me and strait ahead was my target: a narrow, deep looking river. With GUN on my trail, I would have no time to fill my bike up, and leaving it in the open could tell them where I was. The river was getting closer by the moment, each second proving my judgment of its length to be wrong. At the last second, the front of the bike tipping over the bank, I jumped from the bike, watching it sink into the river.
I stood and with a sigh, slipped my hands into my pockets, Nano-C hovering next to me. "Now how am I going to hide you until we get to the governor?" I ask out loud to no one but myself. I look at the drone intently as it just hovers, and a single red sensor in the middle stares at me, like an eye of judgment. I start walking and it follows. My coat billowing behind reminding me of something important, these were the same clothes GUN saw me in last. I now had to make a detour before the governor's, which brought the problem of Nano-C's form into the picture again. "I can't enter anywhere with you looking like that," I mutter to myself as I walk, glancing at the red sensor again.
Almost on command Nano-C erupted into a burst of Light, nearly blinding, even with my sunglasses on. When the light dissipated, all that was left was a rifle on the ground. Picking it up I shake my head. "Still a bit out of place, but at least you're not a flying robot anymore." I strap it onto my back and look for a place to get a new coat.
After walking a few blocks I find the only open clothing store, a decrepit looking Good Will. I walked in, nearly scare the pants off the shop keeper. He obviously wasn't used to people coming in this late. I walk up to the counter, and lay down about fifty dollars. "I need a coat," I state, as kindly as I can. The man behind the counter still looks scared. He nods vigorously and runs into the back of the store. As I waited for him to return, I tried to figure out why he was so afraid. As I start taking my coat off when I realize why: it is not often that a man in a long coat enters a store, and even less so if he has a rifle on his back.
The man runs back, carrying a a battered looking coat. he hands it to me and stutters, "S-S-Sorry s-sir. Th-That is the only c-coat we have.." Taking it from his hand I sigh. One arm is ripped off and the bottom hem is frayed and torn. Nonetheless, I put it on and walk out without saying another word to the shop keeper, carrying the rifle across my shoulders. The coat revealed a tatoo on my arm, a marking of GUN.
The next walk was much longer. I had to make sure I stayed out of the way of street lights and carrying Nano-C on my shoulders was starting to take it's toll on my stamina. As I came upon the Governor's building, I was exhausted. Now using the Nano-C rifle as a crutch, I walked in. Bypassing security would be my hardest task, as I was sure the guards would already know I had arrived, due the security cameras, but I was already too far into this to care.
I start walking down the halls, still leaning heavily on the Nano-C, but placing it on my boot instead of the floor to eliminate the clack. It wasn't long before security caught up to me. They stood just down the hall as I rounded the corner. They held their arms out, guns pointing strait ahead at me. I drop Nano-C and raise my hands in the air. They ran towards me, handcuffs at the ready.
They dragged me into the Governor's office, throwing the Nano-C rifle next to me on the tile floor. I look up to see a man in a suit sitting behind a desk. Without turning he begins to interrogate me, "Why are you here?"
"I've come with a warning." I replied, ready to spill my guts.
He turned around, "A warning about what?"
"A secret organization, one that thrives on destruction." To emphasize my point I look at Nano-C. Hoping it would work I gave an order. "Show your true form," I commanded. In another blinding flash of light, it the Nano-C fades into drone form once more. "They built this."
The governor stood up, glanced at the drone, and then back at me. "Perhaps you had better tell me your story from the beginning." He unlocks my handcuffs and we began to talk. I informed him of how GUN destroys for seemingly no reason. I told him of how towns, that were in top condition one day, are left in ruins the next. I told him of my escape, and the abduction of their recent project ,the Nano-C. I finally told him that I was hoping he could help me in bringing about their end. After hearing all of this the governor got up and walked over to a large window that looked out over his city. "I don't know how much help I can be. I can get you a ride and inform the other leaders of your mission."
I stand up as well and Nano-C returns to the form of a rifle, "That's all the help I need."
The governor walked over to me and draped his arm around my shoulder. He turned me back to the window and points out. With all the pride in his being, he says, "I love this city, but because of my inability to do much of anything, I'm trusting you. Do away with this GUN, and save us."

Good but I got kinda confused what you meant on "All I could feel was the wind, the heat Nano-C gave off as it hovered next to me, and the vibrations of my bike." I think you could've mentioned the bike before Nano-C and maybe put -> ";" after you mentioned the bike...
I dunno it somehow doesn't feel right for Nano-C to be mentioned like that..... sweatdrop
