So there is Team Spike and Team Angel but
DOES TEAM RILEY EVEN EXIST????
Did anyone here like Riley as a boyfriend? I found him annoying especially in five, what was with him and the vampire prostitutes really? It was all very weird...

Joss Whedon himself said that "Parker was her best boyfriend." And I agree. Without Parker, Buffy wouldn't have grown up as much. Parker taught her to be wary in the ways of love. It taught her that there are people out there that just want to sleep with her, not have a meaningful relationship and she needed that in order to survive. It's not a fighting tactic or anything, but her life did depend on it.
Plus, despite the fact that he was a total sleezebag, he was sort of cute. whee
I have this friend named Riley and he's also a major fan of Buffy. We always joke and say "Aw, man, I HATE Riley!" and everyone around us gets all weird because they don't know what we're talking about. It's hilarious. Anyway. I hate Riley. Season five? For fail. Season four? Four fail. C'mon! My stupid puns are more sensible than him! He's just stupid. And there's no angry, raspberry emoticon, so I'll just have to tell you I'm making that face.

Ok, See, I like Riley. He pissed me off, when he was letting the vamps suck his damn blood. He broke Buffy's heart!
Parker was a duche bag, for using Buffy. But he did teach her something she, and everyone else in the world, needs to know.
Angel, angel was a good bf.
Spike was the best. He did everything he can for her, he even got his soul back for her.
