Good evening/night/day/morning, Aekea! How goes it? Now is a great time to be an Aekean because there are some pretty exciting things going on. One of the most exciting things is Phoenix's promotion to Guild Captain. Let's hear what our new leader has to say:
What brought you to Gaia?
A dear friend of mine told me about it in 10th grade. I didn't really get active until after she left so we never got to spend a lot of time with her on here but i'm glad she introduced me to it.
What hobbies do you have away from the internet?
I love table-top role playing. Mostly I play Dungeons and Dragons (3.5 and 4e) but I run two different campaigns of Shadowrun 4th. The futuristic, almost steam punk culture that has developed and become associated with Aekea is probably what drew me to this city as opposed to one of the others.
Who is your favorite NPC?
I would have to say Liam because he's the most like me.
How did you decide to become an Aekean?
When I first joined Gaia it was during one of the summer events and I had to decide which team to join. I went for the one in second place at the time, which was Aekea. After hanging around the event forums I noticed that Aekeans were a bit nicer than everyone else. They also had a lot of pride. I made more friends in my first week on Gaia through that team than I have since.
What is your favorite thing to do on Gaia?
Hang out in the guild's threads and post in the GD. There are some interesting people there if you can sift through the garbage.
How do you feel about being guild captain? Do you think you deserve it?
Hm. I think I deserve it but I would have loved to earn it under different circumstances. I'm flattered that Neon thinks i'm the best man for the job though. That really means a lot to me and I won't let him down. It's going to take a lot of work but I don't really sleep much so much so it's okay.
Speaking of lots of work, Can you shed some light on what you plan to do with the guild?
Recruiting is going to be my number one focus. Getting new faces in here is crucial. I'm also going to make sure the new story arc gets posted on time and each installment is on time and of good quality. Nothing builds continuity like a story that everyone can follow. Even when activity dies down the story arc will always be there for people to look at and read. Plus it will help the role play room get more active if Rezia posts an rp that is related to the story. it was supposed to go out 4 days ago but neon has been really busy. I'm going to post the first part this coming Monday and installments will be posted at least once a week.
Sounds like you've got a plan. Are you going to be increasing the number of crew to keep up with the workload?
Nope. I think the people we have can do the job.
Well, there you have it, folks! Straight from the new Captain's mouth. Stay tuned because Cutter Demon Archer will be interviewed next! That's all for now. This is Ellen Roth signing off!

I haven't interviewed anyone in soo long because all of our regulars have been done already. But we have a new person in the guild so i'll talk to her.
