I think it'd be a good idea for mods to send a PM to the thread creators when they just move them, letting them know why and where they moved it. I posted a thread about my boyfriend, and it was moved somewhere I can not even find it. It didn't violate the ToS, so I don't appreciate it being removed for no reason.
Also, I posted a pic in the boyfriend/girlfriend thread of my boyfriend and again my post was removed. It didn't violate any of the rules, and I think it's unfair that my posts are being removed and I'm not even being told why.
[NOTE by Kaiju Koi: ] We try to remember to notify the creator of the thread whenever possible. In this case I believe there may have been some issues going on with some [nameless] members, but overall this is not the case here. If we get too busy or it slips our minds which may happen, check the subforums and feel free to contact a mod. It is important for us to know when these things happen and be able to track them. If we don't know that it happened, we can't help you. So notify us ASAP!

jax is in love i feel your pain but mods are gods Ugh, I hate how people put guild mods on pedestals. I can respect their authority, but I refuse to kiss up to them. It's not right to go around and remove people's post without even giving a valid reason as to why it was removed. It would've been another thing had I been violating the rules, but I was just posting things everyone else in the threads were. I think this might have to do with something else that happened in the guild. If that's the case, then someone's acting like a child and abusing their power. stare
At any rate, if I keep getting targeted I'll just have to take it up with the captain and/or VC. I mean, why be a part of a guild when I'm not even allowed to participate.

All of our crew members were given those positions because Kate believes we are responsible enough to help moderate the guild - none of us would abuse that power. If you're curious as to why your posts or threads were removed simply PM one of the mods and we can try to help you out.

I try to remember to notify the poster, but at the same time...a lot of threads are moved and sometimes it's too much of a hassle to PM every thread creator.

Pain does not exist... Well... Jonathan was having some of the same problems... His thread was moved to Spam for awhile til I asked someone to move it to Advice, cuz it certainly did not belong in Chatterbox. and some of his posts were deleted for no real valid reason... So yes, explanations may need to be given now... cuz it's starting to get weird....in my dojo

Laurissa makes a good point. I put something in the I POOP GOLD thread a couple days ago and it wasn't bad at all. I just told people what I was doing and that I was having a good time. All of a sudden, blam. It's gone and I have no clue in hell why. No excessive swearing, no one word messages, no nothing. I was just posting on how I feel.
Now, I respect mods. I really do. But when I feel like one abuses their power, I lose all trust for them. Just me *shrugs*
If I had gotten a reason as to why the post was deleted, I would have been ok. But I never did get one so I agree completely. We should have notifications sent to us.

As we have said before, there are so many of us and so many posts get moved/deleted etc every day that it would really just be a hassle for mods to PM every single member when something happens to their post.
Again, if you're really concerned or confused, PM one of the crew members and we'll do our best to explain to you what happened.
