A lot of people are really hard on folks who, for whatever reason, believe that they aren't entirely human. They are an easy target, of course, and there's nothing that John Q. Public hates more than someone who thinks they are 'special' or has the nerve to believe really unconventional things. I say, if they are functional and aren't hurting anyone, why bother them?
And I'm not just saying that because I'm not human. twisted
(J/K... Or am I?)
I can easily see a person who has stronger instincts or animal drives, or who hasn't learned to suppress them like everyone else (and I don't know which of those it is), feeling like they have more in common with an animal than other people.
I'm even willing to go out on a limb and say that in an infinite universe, it's possible that alien souls reincarnated here, or chose to "walk-in" to take the place of someone who wanted out. I'm not so sure about people who claim to be angel-dragon-pikachu hybrids though. (Ok, maybe not quite that combination, but you know what I mean... There's stretching the boundaries of rationality, and then there's stuffing it down the garbage disposal...)

I agree in ways. honestly as Effed up as it seems I have a true belief that I'm not meant to be here "in this time or kind of world) maybe its false hopes hoping 4 better but its just something ive always had problems with since i was little.... Ive always felt out of place and that I've been different. (no not in just the Rebel/outcast way) its hard to describe, its just a sense of being. (I brought it up 2 my mom once and she got really upset thinking it was my depression breaking through again and that it hinted at darker things in my mind: while in all honesty I was just stating how I never feel that I fit in. Its weird but I almost feel like I have a different energy or something from most people, Kinda a misplaced puzzle piece...I wish I were a pikachu but alas... no pokemon powers here....that i know of...Yet... stare
